well i guess here's my speculation the latest patch revamped some existing intersections in WCUSA. not only that, but there are a lot of new lane arrows i haven't seen before and i know i haven't placed myself. this leads me to believe that they're going to continue doing this, revamping and striping other intersections until the devs are happy. on the more outlandish side, it makes me wonder if they're planning either another new POI, a small expansion to the map (like another suburb on the island at the end of the bridge), or a complete revamp of the roadways. i know for a fact that they don't plan to revamp the ENTIRE map and everything about it since as it stands, WCUSA is a pretty cool map. i also know that they aren't going to say fuck it and double the size of the map to something like italy, since that'd probably just force them to remake the entire thing. but a revamp of the roads is possible, i think. maybe not as possible as simple intersection revamps, but still. another thing that i think might be possible is a new electric car, since they just revamped the EV simulation. maybe they want to add a fresh new car to properly show off the new simulation, as opposed to using an eSBR or Vivace. maybe far-fetched but at least it's realistic. --- Post updated --- also definitely a new Lens Flare Studio expansion coming soon (the signs in game said so, therefore it's true)
It wasnt long since the last comment here by a dev. They also just released a small bugfix so np need to go all energy drink squirrel. I speculage more gfx stuff due to some of the WIP things (autoexposure for example) stopped working in 0.27. Also tdev (i think it was) said writing shaders is hard. I did think anothe guy, Luis something, was the gfx guy but i dont know Jack about that really.
there's also a ton of unused space in the map (even not including the island), like where the logistics centre/substation and quarry were added. not that they want to get rid of all the grassland, but there's certainly more room for stuff: all of the blue shown is racetrack infield, all of the red shown is other grassland, which I could see potentially getting points of interest put on them.
i think the ETK remaster is coming this update it was revealed the start of the last update if i remember correctly ?
yea, lots of unused space, but honestly, i feel like there should be either more empty space, or more city. while WCUSA is a very interesting map, it just feels weird. the way the city abruptly ends just make it feel off. like in cities:skylines when you hit the edge of the tile and you just have this jarring transition from an urban environment to complete wilderness. it's especially bad on the right side of the image you sent. i feel like if they do end up doing another expansion to the city, it'd either be something down by the cliffs near the port, or something in that huge red space heading towards the suburb. just something to help transition from city to outskirts. thats just my two cents on it, i have a lot of other takes and ideas on the city of belasco.
not speculation but, is it just me or is anybody else happy that they finally made this park accessible, also i want to thank the devs for making these little ally ways in the city, they didnt have to make them and could have just left them empty but they went above and beyond and made these little cut streets perfect for police cases or roleplay and made the city more realistic and fun, so thank you devs!
the park has been apart of the map for years but in the update they made so you can drive on it, and the allys they just added in the update, the area was empty before,
inb4 they give us something like this on another note looks like it maybe would be the loading ramp trailer config but with a car/cargo lift? At first I thought it was a H-Series part.
something like that for the truck trailer is a little strange, for cargo truck ok but for this trailer I don't see how they can make it useful.
