Update Speculation thread

Seriously guys, I have been dreaming about this the other day.

 

I am noticing that all the cars have openable parts

I think there is something off about the K-series engine bay, V8 maybe?

Hold up, where's the wendover, roamer, t series, moonhawk, Barstow, fcv, Burnside special, pigeon and all the others?

 

Nah, that looks like the regular old straight-six.

Although it is great to finally get doors for all the street vehicles - I'd especially love to see the T-Series's massive hood and fenders become an "opening door".

I presume that if all the vehicles shown will be getting opening doors, the others will, as well. (Except for those which don't have doors, like the SP twins and the Autobuggy.)

 

They probably didn't fit in the pic, i don't think they'll add openable doors to only half of the vehicles

 

What cars are missing ? Maybe those could get reworks? (except cars that already have openables)

That engine on the k series looks new, can anyone clarify that?

 

am I high or the headlights on the ETK K is in PBR?

about time...honestly...modders beat ya'll since it was ever first put in the game lmao.

 

Nah theres nothing new to see about the etk guys, the seats is the red-ish tt sport interior and the engine is the straight 6, the lights dont appear to look different to me

It doesn’t look like a V8, but it definitely looks like a nice remastered I6! It definitely doesn’t look like the old one, that’s for sure.

Edit: After closer inspection, I'm not completely sure whether this is actually a new motor or not. It looked like intake runners were able to be seen, but in game there is an ETK logo with some shiny/chrome lines there that have a very similar effect from a distance. It also wouldn't make any sense to see intake runners there, that's the exhaust side of the motor. I really hope that we get a remastered engine model though, with proper tuning bits and turbos and stuff.

 

I think the k series needs a remodel. When I first saw it, it looked like a 4 series or c class coupe but weirder. It doesn't look like a small coupe or roadster.
