Update Speculation thread

I don't see any new content but its good to see more vehicles receiving opening doors

 

is it just me or does the front end and the engine bay on the k-series look different?

 

I mean, the K-Series was receiving a remaster, so it would make sense that it'd look different.

Perhaps that means that the remaster for the K-Series is complete, and it's ready to be released in 0.28? That'd be nice.

 

I think it still needs time, the last major update was only two months ago

 

The K-Series remaster has been in the works since July of last year - if it releases by April of this year, that's almost nine months of development time.

That's a similar amount of dev time to the Covet V2, which was teased in February of last year and released in September of last year.

2/10 no openable fridge door with the triggers.

OT: I wonder if the travel trailer will also get openable doors, maybe we can even walk inside it on walk mode.

Hmm, a new teaser, so the next update probably will came in 2 or 3 months.

The ETK K and 800 Series doens't looks so different

 

I'm curious, if there are any works on UI that highlights door handles and buttons. I mean it's not important, but those red/green/blue "light" bricks are little bit too big imo

 

I know openable doors have been in Mods for a while, but as person who RARELY uses any mods, except for the Crown Vic on occasion, this is really appreciated! Also the door mod doesn't cover all cars, and this will never be outdated since it is part of the game! (The main reason I don't touch mods, because I don't wanna be sad when they stop getting updated).

Am I going insane or does the teaser K-series have remastered parts? Note the environmental effects on the seats and headlights (and maybe the engine) vs. 0.27 on ultra settings:

 

The 800 Series’ lights also look different, but no one else thinks so. But it has been established that the engine has been remastered.

They look like the same model but with PBR textures. The glass looks better on all cars etc so I’d imagine the improvements here are just improvements in the PBR across the whole game rather than the K series in specific.

 

Well, the D-Series doesn’t seem to have PBR materials on its headlights.
