Update Speculation thread

really, I can remember maybe during the switch between DX9 and DX11 that in the update log it was changed from 20 to 30, for helping out the Intel HD users

Didn't tdev say a while back that they were going to call the last update 0.8.1 to save numbers. Considering this I think it is likely that the next big update will be called 0.9.1

 

And he said this update was going to be 0.8.1...

 

i think last hotfixes has secret updates

but not active now

Those have been there for a good while, even before 0.9.

 

Those sky boxes have been there for quite some time, they used a similar (perhaps the exact same one) for the Derby map before it got updated.

You never know, those sky maps may at some point in the future, be made a part of a future weather system in BeamNG.

 

Yeah, I'm have a feeling the rain objects have something to do with them.

 

In all honesty, if they add more cars in the future, they are most likely are NOT going to be Ibishu, or Gavril, because they are the most popular brand. I can see them adding more cars that are going to be Soliad, Hirochi, and Civetta, funny thing is, is that we have 0 Korean cars in the game, we also have no British cars. Did I forget to mention, we have no 2010s modern family 4 door sedans. We also have no modern pickups, which I would love to have. We also have no modern big rigs. Don't take what I said seriously though, this is just speculation.

 

what about ETK? mix of BMW and Mercedes, two companies i hate.

 

True, there isn't many ETKS, but there is 4 of them.

 

and that is 4 more than i can stand. i wonder what the next unannounced car will be.....VW Bug? VW camper van? Golf?

There needs to be a car from 2001 to 2009. All cars stop at 2001 and begin at 2009. It's as if the devs can't count to 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008!

Hell, even the Hopper stops at coincidentally, 2001. The H series also stops at 2001.

 

Exactly! I agree, why don't we have a 2010-2017 family 4 door sedan! Also where are our modern trucks, and super cars!? Maybe a new Civetta, or the Civetta Bolide 2017!

 

If you hate them, then shouldn't you like to watch those cars crumble?
