Awesome, some attention to the Automation track. Definitely a favorite of mine to drive on. It looks like it is a remaster of sorts, not just a pbr update. New grass, trees, and it appears the banked corner may have been smoothened out, and the curb made smaller. I wonder what else they've done to the track. This area could use some detail, to make it look more lively i guess. Also it would be cool if they do something with the abandoned track. Right now it kinda looks like a regular road with a random concrete banked corner. It's listed as a race track but it just doesnt look like one.
they have teased basically the best looking corner on that map so im as well interested what has changed
That's a turn. Most of the time it goes straight, but there's the option to curve and cut through the infield.
Automation Remaster? It would be awesome, it could have more buildings and houses. --- Post updated --- But DJ Modem's Automation Reworked will get affected, because it is on the old version of Automation
That's why my comment started doubting about the comparison being reasonable and as i said, there are very simple mods that implement bendable traffic signs and other stuff, it's not a very hard thing to implement well, the teaser appeared and now thisreply seems a bit off between the speculations but whatever
Maybe add more snow areas on the mountain top, BeamNG could use more snow areas and this is the only Vanilla map with proper snow/ice roads.
Does anyone remember when we had a severe lack of teasers that someone had a dream about this teaser? Because I do, this is exactly what he described But it looks really good, maybe the title illudes to ray tracing? Probably not...
I highly doubt the devs are anywhere near ray-tracing yet, the existing graphics system probably needs a lot of work before we start new features so advanced as RT.
I don't have much hope for AMD optimization on DX11, but the switch to Vulkan is seeming pretty interesting and provides that much-needed AMD optimization (trust me I need it too) lol.
