Update Speculation thread

Personally, I wouldn't consider a BMW 3-Series and a Dodge Charger to be direct competition. The 800-Series and Bastion in-game share my same conclusion.

 

I think it is just a very pixelated ETK logo in black instead of the chrome that are already on ETK wheels

 

I can only imagine what the tuning will be like on a modern tt v8, 400-500 stock 600-700 with just an ecu. I wonder if the specs will be similar to Audis tt 4.0 v8

 

It's hard to analyze with how pixilated it is, but that definitely looks more like a hexagon than an ellipse to me. Looks a bit stubbier too.

 

He's talking about this bit, which appears to be a sharper version of BMW's Hofmeister Kink, a design feature well-known on many BMW cars.

 

They are quite hard to miss lol

 

And I think that looks awesome!

 

People calling the Orange car a K series is pretty funny considering it’s got an entirely different fender shape that exactly matches the old 800 Fender.

It is more of an assumption, but not entirely known, but the car in front of it is most likely a sedan 800 series because it is a four-door leaving the car behind it to be a sporty k series judging by the body shape.

 

my theory is that the orange one is a coupe version of the 800 series, or it could just be a sporty version of the sedan,

 

The car behind is absolutely not a K-Series, if you compare it to the existing K-Series and take into account that we've gotten a K-Series teaser that clearly shows a design change nowhere near as drastic as redesigning it completely to look like an 800-Series, it becomes fairly obvious. If that was a K-Series, then you might as well eradicate the K-Series entirely and replace it with an 800-Series coupe.

 

It’s a little hard to see but doesn’t the roof look like a different color? Maybe we are getting carbon fiber roofs?

 

the color looks close to kind of carbon-fibery, but it could very well be either a sunroof or a simple dual-tone roof (mmm fancy)

 

It does appear that we're getting a black roof, not certain whether it's carbon or not.

Excuse the crude sketch but I'm not at home today. Its obviously only a educated guess at how the car looks and a coupe is not yet confirmed but i hope we'll get one. I'm not quite sold on the looks yet (if it turns out to look like my drawing) but that something that I can say about modern BMWs as well.

 

i like it, but we're getting a sedan. but hey, a coupe would be nice too

 

The teaser we got for the K-Series was only of the back rear corner, nothing about the front, it is quite possible that some stuff changed due to feedback from the community

 

As im planning to upgrade too in a couple of months i plan on a I7 12700k. I want to upgrade to the new LGA1700 socket after nearly 7 years of my trusty old I7 4790k which will find its second life as my wifes first gaming rig.
I pair my new Intel with my still going strong and kicking MSI 1080 since im not interested in anything higher than 1080, 60hz so i think im golden for a couple of years with the long overdue CPU upgrade. depending on how it works out with the new processor i may even think about getting a higher resolution monitor but we will see.
