Update Speculation thread

Do you guys think that the ETK 800-Series sedan and wagon are going to be a single vehicle like the LeGran or a separate vehicle? Because if they continue with the similar naming with current 800-Series, image the number of configs if it is one vehicle.
854t, 854tc, 854tx, 854td - 4 cylinder wagon
856t, 856tc, 856tx, 856td, ttsport, ttsport+ - 6 cylinder wagon
858t, 858tc, 858tx, 858 ttsport, ttsport+ - 8 cylinder wagon (V8? or only for K-Series?)
And same thing with the sedan 844, 846, 848 etc. And we could possibly get a facelift plus the different transmission types (Automatic, manual, dual clutch) along with all the new performance and race versions.
I think it would be a single vehicle as they would share a lot of parts and you can select the body type in vehicle customization menu. They would just have rearrange and reduce the number of configs.
As for today’s teaser, I think we might see the full body of the 800-Series sedan and/or the K-Series, or the update could drop today.

This is very promising for update to drop today

Yeah I think Car_Killer lied, he‘s not checking stuff, he‘s just messing with us

 

IMO the V8 would only have a ttSport or ttSport+ config, it wouldn't make sense to put a powerful V8 in it only to detune it and sell it as a lower trim version

 

the repository update is a bit late but still in the realm of normal, but i will take the opportunity to say update maybe today ?

 

I think today will be the day unless they run into some unexpected problems, but i still do have a feeling of it being weeks from now

 

Makes sense for there to be one last big teaser, so I am still keeping my sights set on tomorrow

 

Mayby because you keep in mind only ETK and Automation map but if we look on teasers. We have 5 teasers. Openable doors, ETK with V8 (probably), ETK K-Series, ETK 800 Series, bodykit update to ETK K-Series and Automation. Also to this we need to add that Launch control is in preparation, so if we look on content then for me this update is full of stuff. They also always add something we don't expect so for me update is ready to be called 0.28.

That looks like a great wheel but doesn't BeamNG have pretty poor FFB?

 

Poor in what regard? I use ffb on my Thrustmaster and there is plenty of force. Though without my hands on the wheel it vibrates and goes lock to lock by itself sometimes

 

I think its just shaky in terms of support and general feel, from what I've heard. Not a wheel user myself, so take it with a pinch of salt
