Also, I think there may be a secret french map in development, or why would there be a french police car in game?

 

Maybe a stupid speculation, but what about euro-sized number plates ?
I think I remember the devs mentioning that they will add other plates format when they first introduced the current number plate system.

I am not saying a French map won't come in the future (to be honest, I hope one will come at some point), but the Gendarmerie version of the Sunburst was made as a tribute for either the Charlie Hebdo attacks or the 13th of November Paris attacks.

 

ETK looks odd with US size plates.

 

They're trying something new with WCUSA (and presumably Italy) where they export pieces of the buildings' facades as forest items in an effort to improve performance. According to @B25Mitch, that's been one of their main focus areas while developing WCUSA.

When were the attacks relative to the addition of the sunburst skin?

 

The Dyno could come as a surprise car! Out of nowhere, the boom!

 

If I remember well, the skin was first introduced in an update that came soon after one of the attacks (not sure which though). I don't remember the Devblog mentioning it as a tribute, but I am pretty sure I read somewhere it had to do with it.

 

Oh, well.

How will it be implemented into the final game?

I'd put weather higher, seeing that there already is related code for it. Especially over the suggestions.

Also, what's in the "Weather File"? Does it do anything?

I'd say a 70% chance of happening.
