cough cough V10 cough cough If this doesn't get either a Ford Supervan or Renault Espace F1 based version, it's going to suck.
While it would be cool to have some sort of hypervan, even if one doesn’t exist as base game content, a mod will most likely be made, and it will still be an amazing vehicle without a lean, mean, street machine version. Yes, I know you were making a joke.
TBH, all it needs is nitrous (which every vehicle but the Stambecco has (which ruined the Stambecco for me)) for Agent_Y's engine swap mod to work. If we don't get a fast one, I'm making it. Without a fun version it'll get boring to drive after a few days, similarly to the Gavril Scout (which, of course, I swapped a 700+ hp I5 into). Just my opinion, though.
you know this morning i woke up and thought, hey its a tuesday i wonder if theres going to be a teaser today, haha maybe it'll be a minivan, well... here we are!
If its an ibishu i reckon itll get the engines from the newer pessima as well as a hybrid/electric offspring, cherrier an older version of the I3 and I4 with an aftermarket I5. If its bruckell its safe to assume itll have atleast 1 engine from the legran (maybe the 2.5 i4 in the base model)
I'll be happy no matter what brand it winds up as, I too have been wanting an official minivan for a while. I grew up in US market minivans (From Japanese brands), so this being one of those is my preference, but I won't be disappointed if it isn't. I can't tell from the teaser what the years could be. I personally think that a 2000s minivan would be best, since it fills in the model year gaps pretty well. Minivans were big in the 2000s, both physically and in popularity. Plus they could make all sorts of accessories, like the fold-down TVs, or stow-n-go seating, or something like Honda's built-in vacuum. Someone in this thread also posted a Kia Sedona, and this could be a good place for the devs to introduce a Korean brand too if they were so inclined.
I dont see a problem with that. Nearly all japanese manufactures are doing some performance oriented cars.
Well that's also true, honestly now that i think about it more, a Hirochi minivan wouldn't be too bad
My speculations for 0.29: Minivan by Gavril, Bruckell or Ibishu New things in West Coast USA, like the police station building I mentioned before and maybe other improvements as well Remaster of a vehicle, I think maybe it can Moonhawk, in the remaster there would be a wagon version (maybe el camino too) as we saw in the LeGran remaster, maybe this update could have the theme of American family vehicles with new minivan, Moonhawk remaster and perhaps improvements to the Roamer, LeGran, and 800-Series (which are other vehicles used by American families) Map remaster, unlikely but we can have it because in 0.28 after the release of a completely new map, Johnson Valley, and even then we had the Automation Test Track remaster, maps that haven't been remastered yet but could be are Cliff and Template (even that template is a base map for building other maps) Cliff would have at least new PBR textures but if it had a bigger remaster it could have a road, a port and a parking lot at the top but everything would be abandoned because it is in Texas and the other maps that are in Texas are abandoned, template would only have new PBR textures to help create maps with PBR textures.
I believe this is the most plausible company that the devs will choose, but I'm hoping its another one like a Cherrier.
can you imagine, a trigger for the tv, and when you press it, it foldsdown, then the tv turns on to the first youtube video of beamng! i also hope the interior is like very visually weird kinda like the 2nd gen quest, or the previa, and finally it would be cool if the spare tire was in a really weird spot like the middle of the van or even the inner wall, like the 3rd gen odyssey,
I could definitely see the Moonhawk get more body styles. A Sedan would be great and so would be a Wagon, preferably with the unique design feature of the roof forming a V-shaped window hump above the B-Pillar and having a higher height from there rearwards (I first saw this detail on the Wagon detective Monk's mother had when he was a kid and I liked it). But the Ute variant would be especially easy since the Coupe body of the Moonhawk could be used until the B-Pillar, it already has the lines to start forming the bed at that spot. The Bluebuck could also have Ute and Woody Wagon variants too (plus a 2-door Convertible), I mean they're the obvious omissions from the entire car.
Yeah; I'll try to get to it later today OT: While I wasn't expecting a minivan for our next car this does put them at 3/4 for knocking out the top requested niches lately... DL Charger (Bastion), modern supercar (Scintilla), minivan (today's teaser)... That just leaves a modern full sized BoF American pickup. After that then I'll have to actually look at the vehicle suggestions thread/social media comments to figure out what the remaining top requests are, which I will need a Tyvek suit for.
