Update Speculation thread

The steam summer sale is coming June 22nd, this might the be release date for the 1.10 update.

 

I doubt that. It will probably take until maybe mid july/ early august. That is just too early for what we (might) be getting. Although where I live its already June 22nd. And its that time for the devs in Germany too

 

It ain't gonna be for a while. I'm going to see the devs in a couple weeks, and from what I've heard, only tdev will be there that day, so they aren't in rush mode, so the update isn't gonna be for a while.

 

Well if your going to be there, why not give us some intel

I think the update will come when more screenshots of the Bluebuck is unveiled, like the case with other vehicles like the Hopper and LeGran.

 

Or, we might get one hidden screen and suddenly a new car.

I agree. I think the developers are trying to push WCA and Italy out first so the main bulk of the hype is focused on the maps, and I presume they will release the Bluebuck in a "hotfix" for the update.

 

Well, if you think about it, it kinda happened to the Hopper too. We saw its name in the concept list, but it was too vague for us to know what it was, until Gabester officially revealed it back in October/November.

I think you're on to something. It would explain why we've been seeing so many screenshots of WCA and Italy.

However, I do believe that the next update may instead focus on the Bluebuck and WCA, with the two of them being released together. I won't rule out the possibility of what you said though.

 

Yeah, because bluebuck and WCA would go together nicely, but I dunno about the wendover and Italy...

 

That's what I've been saying about the Bluebuck and WCA.

And it's highly likely that the Wendover and Italy will be released separately.
