Update Speculation thread

New update, new chart.

 

this van dropped while i was at work and my god did the day go by fast. so happy to see a normal ass car added to the game, they're so much more fun to drive.

here's to hoping for a remaster or two for 0.3, along with hopefully some news sounds and a better skybox, though such a thing is probably low on their list.

 

why though, shit boxes are what makes this game great

Literally playable

 

It was taken down because it was a stolen windstar model. The Lansdale I'd say is a Caravan/Voyager, Windstar, and Siholuette mix. With some fictional influence.

 

The interior is damn near 100% 3rd gen caravan. Steering wheel - 3rd gen copy. Center stack? Everything in it is chrysler parts bin parts. I literally have the same radio that's in the Lansdale sitting on a shelf in my garage. Climate controls? Exact copy.

It does make me wonder how much BeamNG outsources their models, but at the same time it's hard to imagine there are 3d models of early 00s Chrysler Parts bin stuff lying around on the internet to buy...

 

the buttons on the interior of the Lansdale light up. not on pc rn so can’t send pics but finally that feature is here. interiors before just looked much more boring with the lights on bc you wouldn’t be able to see the window switches and the centre console when the lights were off at night.

 

think the new van is based off a chrysler voyager

i want something like some 50s-70s european economy car POS lol

forgot to mention this but, is it just me or is the camera angle on the lansdale kinda broken, like its positioned off or something, (also not as important because this could be my laptop but its kinda finicky with crashes like 6 out of 10 when i crash it, it crashes my game,)

I speculate that both digits of the version number will change for the first time in 3+ years

 

Alright here are my 2 cents:
There will be a remaster of an older vehicle with not up to standard textures (Moonhawk or Sunburst). In the case of the Moonhawk I bet a station wagon version and a sedan could be featured and it could have loads of possible customization. For the Sunburst, the car could become like the Cherrier FCV platform and have like a wagon, early crossover variant plus facelift and could even feature a state of the art hybrid drivetrain (maybe start-stop). What I'd love is to have like a sort of ecobox like the prius based on the sunburst which could have crazy tuning options (V8 swap...)
