Check out this mod! It's a huge improvement to the standard tyre smoke and I use it all the time! It's really performance intensive though, so expect some lag when doing burnouts.

I think stupid drivers are murderous too :p

You better pay Bocchi back smh

I don't think the amount of smoke is a problem but how it actually works in game. Particles are just 2d png sprites basically ;)

i have an idea for more realistic particles
when a particle is touching the car, make the particle invisible
i have no clue how to do this, but i was thinking make an area that is the shape of the car, and when a particle hits it, it turns invisible

It would be pretty easy using collision tris, but it would look bad because you'd see smoke popping in and out of existence since as soon as it touches the car it disappears even if not the entirety of it is inside the car

Maybe make smoke on voxels like in (CS-go?) as an option for performance video cards)

Those taillights are from the modernized Stambecco (the American fire truck and rally configurations).

Agree x10. I think an 'easy' way to get it 'better' looking would be to use normals textures moving as in the cloudlayer. Same goes for exhaust smoke. I think that is how for example GTAV does it by the looks of it. Clipping through and being effected by the wheels and so on on the other hand is probably way more complicated :D

I suspect that after Vulkan finally comes to Beam that we'll see some pretty decent graphics improvements, although when it'll come is unknown (hopium)

The lighting of the buttons is great but the digital clock on the overhead console is not functional, which is not so great.

You know how detailed a game is when a non functioning interior clock is a legitimate issue

One thing we all haven't noticed until now (I just noticed it) is that this update also included a soft remaster of the Autobello Piccolina. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it now has the SBR4 engine, new hoods with vents (type A and type D), police accessories in the interior, and some features related to the Gambler. Now, the Autobello can be used as a drift vehicle if you set it up correctly. Developers, I'm in love! Versions 0.28 and 0.29 have made the Autobello even more attractive than you might think. If I started a career in Italy, I could bet the entire game on that one vehicle XD

There are some things in other vehicles like that after 0.29 or only Autobello got soft remaster ?

    --- Post updated ---
none of that live engine sounds will come in 0.30, and probably no dirt and scratches either, but yeah the next update will be more agricultural, and hopefully we finna see the Johnson Valley RV as a vehicle soon

"Atrocious" is a heavy-hitting word for sure, plus we have the Stambecco, which couldn't be a more characteristic example of a European Utility Truck, but I agree on the basis of your comment. We've no European Pick-Up Truck, Van, Bus, Lorry and Agricultural vehicles like a Tractor. I believe ETK could have this role too since it makes some excellent diesel engines (the 2.0 I4 and the 3.0 I6), at least for the lighter-duty models, like the Pick-Up and the Van.

We desperately need another German brand, etk shouldn’t be used to fill in for all German cars. A lore friendly rear engine German sports car would be really cool to see. (The sbr4 is not a 911)
