I'm more curious about the alignment of the front wheels tbh, considering how great the difference is in suspension travel between the two wheels (akin to a rock crawler). Could probably just be a side effect of it being an average paint.net sketch tho
No no no, your looking at it wrong. What we are looking at is a WIP high tech 3D VR renderer. You can see the perspective changes in different spots of the image. Truly mind-blowing stuff
Yeah, that's why I don't think it's that huge a teaser. Because it's such a [deliberately] shitty drawing, we can't trust the perspective, scale, or silhouette. All we can really say is that it's probably a boxy, consumer-sized vehicle with four headlights (so probably 1960's to 90's), and this particular vehicle was probably not JDM. The last drawing contest was in April of 2022. The next new vehicle after that was the Scintilla (less than two months later; it had already been teased 3 months before), and the next remaster was the Covet. I'm not sure how strong the connection was to either of the above...
the pillar-mounted mirror and diagonal lines on the bumper seem like a deliberate detail, which makes me think it might be something more of a 1950s vintage.
I wonder, since they said to submit the drawing by the 14th, does that mean the actual car will be revealed on the 15, which is a Tuesday
I think Igor Kuna from Facebook cracked the code. So we had only one Gambler 500 video with @ferrettank. BMW in video is same shape as ETK I-Series. For me they will remaster ETK I-Series or add second video on 14 August 2023. Option two is more predictable because video have #1 in title so there must be #2 part or even #3 part His picture: Picture from YT video:
that isnt a I series by the looks of it since the I series is more based of the 5 series BMW e34 and the front of this car is basically the perfect match for the e32 7 series. Images for comparison nr1 is the E34 wich looks a bit similar to the I series in game imo the second is the e32 wich looks alot like the car in the picture above although the I series reminds me more of a e28 5 Series rear with a Audi 100 style front wich would be on brand for beam since they always mix a few irl cars.
An etk i- series remaster would make sense since all the other etks got updated. Not sure tho if this is a real teaser or just a drawing contest.
Probably not 50's, I'd say. Fairly few 50's cars had quadruple headlights, and the few that did (Edsel, Fury, Series 62) have the grill much lower than the headlights if not entirely under them. The 'mystery car' seems to have its grill between the headlights. Edit: actually, it looks like the '59 Bonneville, Impala, and Ninety-Eight all had quads with the grille fully in line with the lights. I'm still not convinced, since all those models have prominent shapes that would have had to be conveniently omitted in the drawing, but I figured it would be worth remarking.
whats going on with the clutch assist ? its engaging the clutch around 1k rpm while i try using the engine brake while crawling down a steep hill sending me down hill
when you re trying to get down a mountain and one of your major declaration methods decides at a certain point isnt fun
Headlight design and mirror placement remind me of Fiat 125p. But I think that its just a drawing contest.
