It does, here's my best attempt at recreating it: Frim what I noticed, the sunset effects are much stronger, and either that's a proper cloudy weather (no shadows) or they are changing how sunsets look. Also the Wigeon lamp video was recorded in Grid Small Pure and I had to make this screenshot in Gridmap, because Grid Small Pure doesn't allow clouds for some reason.
Thinking about it now, is it even rendered in-game? I'd expect the Wigeons inside to deform much more after all this.
Occasionally theres some good posts, but 90% of it is 'can we have an H series with a slightly different grille'
Yeah it’s always desperate kids in the forums begging for the most random car cuz their dad drives one like bro they ain’t reading that lol
Actual lava lamps work because of the change in density between warm liquids (bottom) from colder liquids (top), so unless there's some other trickery going on to make this work, maybe the devs have found a way to properly simulate liquids inside a prop/vehicle's jbeam? This would allow for things like better sloshing fluid simulation inside water tankers, or for a bit of fun, something like Canada's Worst Driver's water tank challenge:
I had just assumed there was gravity trickery but if it is working correctly that could be very interesting for vehicles
I highly doubt it. People been saying this since 0.25 and probably before then but only small changes were introduced such as the moving shifter and realistic hydraulics. If we get a remaster great but it just doesn't seem logical right now.
i believe there is one thing the BeamNG community will agree should have been in the game from the start the balfield lamp
What do we think about the lighting at the bottom of the lamp? Leaking light, omni light, new light? On a sidenote, i do also agree the fog/sky looks better but it can be just a combination of light rays, fog and the existing light.
I found better : 1st : spring châssis, twin engine offroad version, van body , opened and closed soft roof , dashboard Gear shifter , motorisation from 9cv one to 26 hp , wood body (yes , it exist, and its the most expensive 2cv) . The point ? Pushing the game's limit by making a châssis( with the animated Spring) that let the car float over the bumps, adding a full twin engine support (so with two starter , transmissions connected to one shifter , and two fuel tanks) working on soft top , making the second vehicle that Can cut in half and still drive , plus a cutable roof
Nor does it have opening doors and hood. It really needs the remastering it's gonna get sometime in the future.
lava lamps don't work by bending the gravitational field around them, and typically these beamNG physics demos are dressed up as the real phenomenon they're demonstrating. so this likely has something to do with fluid buoyancy, as some have suggested, possibly for tanker trucks. I wonder if this could also mean a more elaborate hydraulic control system, it would make sense if you broke a line on an excavator, that certain isolated parts would retain pressure and still be able to operate, but other parts would lose pressure, and operating the broken line would lose hydraulic fluid as it pours out on the ground.
