There's also the electronic AWS system (think of Super HICAS), which turns the rear wheels in the same direction as the front ones at high speeds and in the opposite direction at low speeds. As we have it right now in the Mk1 Pessima, this primitive AWS system only turns them in the opposite direction, regardless of the speed.
I keep meaning to talk about this but I kept forgetting. I have a thought as to what feature this image is referring to My guess is that this is for the viewport reflections that were leftover in the game files after an update. Clearly this feature is being actively worked on (seeing as how it was accidentally left in the game) which would explain all the green check marks and, to an extent, showing this image of it. Also, we saw that the version in game still had issues that would cause it to be unreleasable. Also in this document you can see the first two headers are referring to issues from different points of view. My guess is that these are issues in the reflections from the main vehicle's point of view, and from any other vehicle's. Or maybe from an interior and exterior cam pov? This is really the only feature I could think of that would have issues related to different points of view, besides maybe some fancy texture or new sky thing. Another main point to this I just remembered, one of the issues the version leftover in the game had was flickering issues, and one of the unsolved issues in this list starts with "flic".
The Citroën Activa Concept Car also has a similar technology. And that's sound good, because the 1th Pessima did not have a remaster.
I feel the 4 wheel steering in the earlier generation Pessima is actually a mechanical system based on the one found in the 3rd gen Honda Prelude. Also, at low steering inputs, the rear wheels do turn in the same direction as the front wheels, not in the opposite direction at all inputs as you described. As for the Prelude fact, I think I heard it from an old YBR video but I forgor.
Well, actually you are kinda wrong about the mk1 pessima AWS system, the rear wheels do turn in the same direction as the front ones. You can notice it if you stop the car and slowly turn the wheels, better be using a controller or a steering wheel for that
Straight Little left/Little right Full left/Full right The Pessima's steering system is divided in two angle range. In the first range, the rear steer turns in the direction of the steer wheel, and in the opposite when you reach the second range.
