Update Speculation thread

Do you think the side-by-side from the Johnson Valley concept art is the one they have been teasing?

 

leeloo said that the sxs was for design purposes only, and that it won't be added to the game

everyone was pretty toxic after leeloo said that, even though it was pretty obvious to me that it was just the map that got teased, not the car

 

I think that now that it may have been a too-early-to-show-off teaser... that the particular art may have been mistakenly uploaded, and it was easier to claim it as not in-game rather than quickly walk it back.

 

OK i didn't know that. Either way i'm still looking forward to this update. The effort the devs put in is incredible. They could be modelling a trash can and they would still put in maximum effort.

If there isn't one today the update might come out in December which is why they are not giving us any now

 

That’s actually quite likely I think because normally there is a Christmas/ winter holiday update and if there would be an update in October, they wouldn’t have enough time to bring out another. They could also do like 2 smaller updates though, one in October and one in December.

The devs have got to be cooking something absolutely diabolical or else.

 

Oh no, how dare the devs focus on getting their work done instead of making a social media teaser for us...

 

Why not both? Just another bloomy/blurry screenshot of the Polaris ATV would leave most people here content – let alone something proper. Instead, we have nothing to talk about except for the lack of thereof.

 

We'll get over it somehow. But it's frustrating to wait and get nothing at all.
