Just imagine this with the Knallhart-grade modern ETK 3.0 I6 (710hp, 790nm) or even the 4.4 V8!
Plus, the more sedate versions of these engines would also make for a great toy!

Tbh, I'd like to see the Moonhawk returning as a modern 2-door Muscle Car based on the Bastion components. It's just too good of an opportunity to be lost. If anything, it's gonna make for a good competitor to the modern Barstow because we're gonna see the antithesis in their materials. For one, the Moonhawk is the big-boy car: brawny, muscular, imposing but also being more towards the comfort side and featuring a more traditional V8 technology (OHV).
For another, the modern Barstow is the more athletic competitor, with smaller size, lower weight and more modern V8 technology (don't forget about Gavril being using SOHC heads ever since the 1986 D-Series, so I could definitely see the modern Barstow using a smaller 2xDOHC V8 opposing to both modern Bruckell OHV V8s, the 5.7 and the 6.5).

i see the moonhawk as more of an oldsmobile cutlass which then became a rwd hatchback 2 door legran and died after the 1994 model year after sharing the platform with the wendover during its life

Cracking sounds when engine cools down when its off ?

 

The ticking sounds are the engine cooling, you can observe the same phenomenon if you park your car after running it and just wait for a little while outside of it.

 

I smell an audio update…

and also yeah the cooling sound like the other person said, could this mean revamped sounds?!?!?! the insects etc sounded new too
