East coast and JRI both make no sense for an oil refinery. Willing to bet it’s industrial. Remember, they can add content to maps when the remaster them.
Honestly WCUSA is the only map that needs an expansion, if they were to up its size and make it about as big as Italy I would genuinely use none of the other maps. WCUSA has the most potential for extra things to be added.
It’s the only one that doesn’t, it keeps getting new stuff, it’s the highest performance requiring vanilla map, and it is generally the most Interesting. We need Cliff remaster, with bridges over huge gaps, a lot of tunnels, a parking lot at the top etc
That's extremely hard to say. For starters, VR headsets typically run much higher resolutions than flat screens. Here I'm using a 1080p or a 1440p screen... but my VR headset is roughly 5K resolution all things considered. So the VR render resolution has a huge impact to begin with. It drops me from 270fps down to 90fps. This is just on my computer. Your mileage WILL vary. Then the VRAM requirements are also higher. If your GPU only has 8gb of VRAM, you might start hitting a performance cliff, due to forcing the computer to fallback from fast VRAM into slower alternative system ram. We've had some people go from playable framerates, down to literally 1 frame per second, due to performance cliffs like this. People will need to make absolutely sure to kill any background program/process they do not need, as those can be eating precious VRAM/RAM/CPU/GPU.
idk how comparable it is, but my pc runs medium with some things on high at 55fps (1080p), but when using vorpx with lowest settings i was hitting around 40fps, overall from playing other vr games ive noticed they all usually use lot of CPU and GPU, i was sometimes bottlenecked by my cpu (i3-10100f, 1060 3gb, 16gb ram, Oculus Rift, not a good vr rig, but i can still enjoy vr at 45fps )
