I do agree that AI should be really improved. as @ITHEPUNISHER said, sometimes even normal traffic freak out or get confused and forget how to drive, or in some cases when you are the police and want to chase someone, nobody starts fleeing from you when in AI traffic mode, everybody just stops and at the end you gotta switch to cars and do it manually. also i believe the AI to AI police chases should get more common, like AI police chasing traffic AI or something like that, for example driving in a civilian car and seeing a AI to AI chase happening is incredibly rare, (maybe impossible, i haven't seen one when driving a normal - not police car), so i guess that could be improved or be a new feature, if it's not already?
Okay hear me out: I wonder if the "out-of-bounds area" style of expanding a map will be used in more maps or if this was a one-time thing for WCUSA. Like sure, we had things like the tunnels in Utah already, but this update was way more complex than some simple tunnels, and maybe it was a test for more complex things in the future. Maybe we could get more roads on ECUSA, a small town near Hirochi Raceway, an island with a second airport in Italy, Derby Arenas integrated into Industrial, a full loop of the road in Johnson Valley, a mountain road going around the reservoir in Automation track, etc
Johnson valley's salt flats and road already kinda use the same idea, so I don't see why not. A highway for east coast would be nice ( a proper interstate-style one)
What I really want to see is them finally expanding the ETK driver experience center into a proper Germany map. With these 3 dead ends it feels extremely limited. There are a lot of possibilities here. Autobahn anyone?
I feel like a little rural 1/8 mile drag strip would be a great but simple thing that could go on the outskirts of ECUSA.
Every time someone reminds me of it, I feel bad for this map. Apart from the car park, there's barely anything worth mentioning. I feel like even the Cliff map (known for being basically empty) gets more love than this. And it'd be great to see it expanded or reworked in the future, given that we had 2/3 ETK cars remastered already.
Those work great in games that have a game plan all the way to the end of development, or at least most of the way there. BeamNG doesn't have that and, on top of that, is a highly complicated game that requires a lot of work to implement any one feature. If you then consider how the development team likes to keep features under wraps until release, it becomes pretty obvious that it wouldn't work well for how they are currently setup.
I still think that a full Germany map would be incredibly boring... Maybe it's because I'm from Germany but they might as well make a "Generic European Map" and call it a day. Rant over, I guess?
there are very cool roads on the black forest and Bayern, not everything is flat like Berlin, considering the ETK Zentrum seems based on Bayern/ BMW the Black forest and mountain roads would fit quite well.
I'm from the black forest region so yea.... but even that would just end up being the Italy map with more forests....
I kind of disagree, it depends on how you make the maps, you can make thousands of different mountain maps, and make all of them different and interesting.
