Update Speculation thread

Maybe the last triangle looking teaser thing was a sign for a WIGON remaster, that's why it is taking so long

 

I just love the 2.5 I5 in the FCV platform and wish the Tograc also gets the equivalent Tograc S performance versions (230SQ, S 270Q, S 310Q Arsenic, S 350Q, S 410Q Arsenic) some time in the future. After all, the Compact High Performance Crossover is a very hot niche in this day and age!

The F6 sound is great and can definitely support a Flat-6 engine. A V12 would also be very cool, but the existing V12 sound seems more appropriate to an 80s/90s V12 than a modern one.
The I2 seems very interesting, must be sounding like an I4 split in two!

It's certainly an interesting idea that we don't have any teaser up until now, looks like a true Christmas present!

Not sure what you’d call it beyond a leak. We also have the first leak from .tech that occurred half a year ago. Time could only be a guess for its release but I’m super excited to see it popped up again and mixed within the works.

 

Some general update speculation:

• Weather, right now BeamNG does not support changing weather and most maps are basically 100 % dry all the times.
  
• More detailed EV power train(motor and battery temperature management
• Different fuels like CNG, LPG or even hydrogen. This could be perfectly mated to an bus update because busses as public transport vehicles are often using such new fuel types.
  
• Fuel Cell vehicles are technically interesting, basically a small battery that is slowly recharged by the fuel cell.
  
• Further improvements to the combustion engine simulation (for example dry sump oil systems that work in any orientation. Or cold start effects (higher fuel consumption, slightly reduced torque)
  
• Modern vehicle safety technology

 

Maybe we'll finally get tyre thermals

 

same we got way too much information with the weekly teasers. if they do post a teaser they should make it less of a showcase and more of something we can speculate about maybe a code or a sound???

I really hope they can release an official multiplayer soon. It would instantly be the most popular online racing game out there for sure. Imagine official online derby races and demolition derbies with actual ranks and career stats. After over 10 years of playing Beam, it's probably my most requested feature. Everything else would be the icing on the cake after that for me.

 

And higher idling! I'd love to see higher idling during cold starts, it can be perfect with adjustable exhausts and with no exhausts at all!

Yep, seeing something being revealed in a slower pace should amp up our imagination even more!

it kinda depends on the devs, for all we know, they might upload a teaser tomorrow or they could next month, either way, we got no way of knowing when

 

That’s true the existing v12 doesn’t suit a modern engine. Imagine a single clutch (or dct) v12 sounding one like an Aventador or 812

 

Or a European Segment-F V12 Luxury Sedan sounding like that with no exhaust!

This kind of vehicle is amongst my deepest desires. Plus, the mechanical parts are readily available: the 8-Speed/Diesel 8-Speed Automatic Transmissions, the 3.0 I6 gasoline "360" and diesel "310d" engines, the 4.4 "550"/"600"/"630 Rennspecht (Turbo)" ttSport V8, plus a V12 (say with 50% more displacement than the 4.4 V8, making it a 6.6) as the ultimate extravaganza.
