Update Speculation thread

With all the speculation about the various types of trucks that can be based on the T-Series platform, there's one type I'd really love to see and that's the multiple car hauler, combined with a hauler trailer. I want this type of truck so much!

 

A bit off topic since a hi-rail truck is pretty useless given our lack of railroads in game, but trucks like the T-Series are sometimes used as hi-rail prime movers as well:

 

Gives a whole new meaning to 'drives like it's on rails'.

 

Holy shed they’re going for the D-series sized remaster for the T-series

 

when do you think the T series remaster update will take place? like early to mid December or earlier?

 

around Christmas or early next year.

 

early-mid december sounds about right considering the 3 month update cycle and update release dates from previous years

The thing is sweet! I love it.

On the topic of the T-Series, i hope we'll start to see them in traffic again. I wonder if there's a way to always spawn them with trailers, like @Agent_Y's mod, but only for simplified traffic?

this also means the t series will get working doors and a hood, wonder if the cab overs will flip forward too

 

It's cool to see the 2 piece wheels, wonder if they'll be able to split apart. I hope to see a tag axle option and a cabover will be awesome. The engine model also looks great, hopefully there is one then one option tho, lots of possibilities with this chassis, especially in sleeper styles

The frames and wheels also look colorable so that's awesome

 

is there any particular reason the frames are a weird shade of brown instead of a dark metal color?

 

Would be nice if we have new semi trailers too.

maybe i'm overestimating but judging by the sheer amount of frames here i wouldn't be surprised if this is beyond just a simple touch up and is a full on bolide-tier remake given the t series is one of the most outdated vehicles in the game

 

being how highly requested it is and how old it is, I wouldn't be surprised
