Could be something - official name of the thread for new trailers is "US Semi Trailers: Container Trailer and Frameless Dump Trailer", with heavy emphasis on pointing out that it is for American market, which could also hint towards European or Asian truck. If I were to speculate, most of non-American brands could have a truck in their line-up, even some light trucks. Cherrier (perhaps Renault Trucks or other, if it is not modern), ETK (Mercedes Trucks primarily, but also MAN trucks), Autobello (we have seen them create a light truck, so it might not be out of the question to see a heavy-duty one) and Ibishu (something akin to Hino semi-trucks). In addition to the speculation: 1. In the "Career Mode" thread, a developer has hinted towards the multiplayer, as there are warning stickers on some cargo box of icons representing the shape of two "BeamNG players". 2. Could be a bigger hint into multiplayer - vehicle vicinity app that was introduced just now in 0.31.1, which could be quite useful in the multiplayer, but it can also be useful in singleplayer whilst driving trucks or racing AI opponents.
No, it's just that the Renault Magnum (or similar) seems to be the most common French truck in Europe. Unrelated to the EU semi, I do wish the T-Series had a more prominent bass to its tire sound. If a truck goes by in real life, especially at high speed, it would have a very distinct rebound (I'm sure many of you known what I mean) It seems to be very, very subtle in BeamNG if not absent entirely.
Actually I think they improved aeros. Spawn a Bolide GTR and take a corner hard, you'll see what I mean. You won't spin out as easily as you used to and there is less understeer, but it could just be confirmation bias. So your theory definitely has substance to it.
In 0.30 and 0.31 the devs expanded West Coast USA with a refinery and such, but it would be cool if in 0.32 or another update they expanded Belasco City like adding more buildings, freeing up inaccessible streets, and other things. Maybe this will really happen because there is that construction near the Nodeoline and Turbo Burger station, and it will be something big, I hope it won't be another industrial area, it could be a condominium, a stadium or something like that perhaps.
a stadium would be cool, especially with a dirt oval in the center, i could rip a moonhawk around there all day
If that's true and not just some placebo effect, then racing themed update might the next one in the pipeline. It would be a pretty big deal for the free-roam, multiplayer (if we base it on the hint of a developer) but also career mode's racing branch.
To be honest, the highway strip in WCUSA is good, but has way too many turns. It would be nice if they added an even larger, high speed freeway surrounding the map
Or something like a Speedway, "Belasco City Speedway" for Nascar racing (or whatever it will be called on Beam Universe)
Even clutch dumping a Bolide though - you won't spin off like it's a 70's muscle car anymore. You do get some wheelspin, but the trajectory is quite linear.
'70s muscle cars aren't fast, unless you mean just 1970. After '71, they were super underpowered and boaty.
We have enclosed and flatbed trailers now as well, which for obvious reasons, are very common in racing to transport road illegal vehicles.
False info about cut missions. I see that tank trailers haven't got a remaster. So maybe next update will feature them.
