As an Eagle owner, the LeGran isn't too similar. It has up-to-date (for the time) styling, the transfer case is a different type, it has an independent rear axle (AMC used a Dana rear axle), and things like that. I still enjoy having an approximation of my car in BeamNG.

 

there probably wont be a teaser until the holiday modding contest is over, which is at the end of the month
i think there has been 2 mods made for it

No argument here. After a prewar car and British sports/luxury, a 70's American compact is my most hotly-anticipated unconfirmed car. Strangely advanced technology for the day (unibody, independent suspension), yet patently unsafe. Heavily-customizable, and heaps of fun to drive. Not to mention being a force to be reckoned with on the quarter-mile

Technically, that area is still outside of the map's bounds (as it's inaccessible during normal gameplay), and is also located off of the terrain block. It's just that with this last update or two, the devs have been a lot less worried about developing outside of the terrain block, so we may yet see further developments there.
