Update Speculation thread

The creator branch gets updated 1-2 weeks before the public branch, just to give content creators time to make a video

Yeah but last update it was update only a few days before. They may doing the creator branch later since it gives us a time frame of when the update will come out.

 

All this talk about a rotary makes my speculation from a few weeks ago even more prescient.

Nissan was planning on having a rotary engine in both the Silvia S10 and S110 after using the Sunny as a test bed, but abandoned the idea for both generations. What if in the alternate BeamNG universe, Ibishu succeeded where Nissan had failed and continued making rotary-powered cars until at least the mid '90s?

I'd say the update lands mid March

 

Any update coming after 1 moth after every first teaser, so 0.32 will be released on March 29th, probably we will have 1 or 2 more teasers on March 7Th and 14th

 

It would also make perfect sense to stick the 2.7 V6 out of the pessima in there, it's already got twin turbos modelled, so with a bit of tuning, they could come up with a setup similar to a Z32 300ZX or GTO VR4.

even if they don't do a factory V6 GT trim, I'd imagine a V6 could make sense in a JGTC super GT spec racecar.

 

Looks like they have quite a bit of progress done. I mean, main textures and all.

 

Very interesting, hadn't thought of the 2.7 Twin-Turbo V6. After all, the engines in the vehicles you mentioned were shared with a few more vehicles (Nissan Hardbody/Maxima and Mitsubishi Diamante/Magna). But it certainly needs some Stage-1/-2 Performance Long Blocks plus a Race Intake, for anyone having a desire for NA tuning.

Wasn't thinking of the extreme GT500 cars, my mind is more towards cars like the '93 Calsonic Skyline GT-R (which has a left-side-exit exhaust, like I said). Don't know exactly what class this car is in, but I imagine that it's in the early days of the Super GT.

Edit: it was in the JTC (Japanese Touring Car) championship, so definitely not a Super GT.

 

yeah it did seem more like a gtr but people really seem to think it's a Silvia s13

 

Deep down, I want it to be a new model because the size doesn't convince me for being the 200BX. But either way, I'd like to see how BeamNG incorporates the Super-HICAS system in a RWD/RWD-based AWD vehicle!

Undoubtedly a 200BX related vehicle.

 

Even though I'm 95% sure it's a 200BX, it would be very interesting to see how they would implement ATTESA AWD found in the old Skyline GT-R's. Also, S13 Silvia's and 240SX's had HICAS rear steering so it would be interesting if they decide to implement that on a few special models.

That's interesting. Maybe the remaster also touches miramar, which is basically old skyline although not a coupe.. (that car needs more love)

I been trying to mod it abit So far just a skin. wanting to try to add the mk2 pessima engine into it ( the 2.0 ) make it RWD and add it
BUT i need to learn lots more,

Maybe it's inspired by the Subaru Legacy, and be a Hirochi? As there's a lack of Hirochi cars compared to Ibishu. Maybe it will share some components with the Sunburst, which could mean Sunburst remaster?
