were you part of the "challenge" too --- Post updated --- ikr? its like a city that got put in a shoebox or something. always been a bit annoying how small it is, a real city would be wayy bigger --- Post updated --- i much agree with ya on that, how long has it been again? 2 weeks or 3?
+ it could be moved outside the border because it doesn't need vegetation. we could finally get airport and proper highways
Doesn't mean a lot other than, yes, they are working on the game. Look for updates to qa_stable if you want an indicator of anything meaningful happening.
I think I know the reason: the basic 200BX car is formed with existing, off-the-shelf components that, because they're also being put in even less exciting vehicles like the Covet and the Pessima (with "even less" going for FWD), aren't anything to write home about in the first place. So, being essentially an affordable blank canvas, makes it the perfect base for tuning and for any personal preference to be expressed through it. Pretty much anyone can adapt it to their own taste, needs and driving style! As for Player2015, he was banned because he was rude and couldn't hold a conversation without starting to offend everyone after 15 seconds. --- Post updated --- Oh, Nissan Muranoooo, I knew you were gonna be hot when you were 9...
Me after hearing that 2015Player got banned: OT: I think that the qa getting updated must be a good sign that the update is coming out in the near future.
my totally unfounded speculation is that the update will release at earliest in late march and at latest maybe early june judging by the past trends in updates, likely somewhere in the middle of those (mid april to early may is my rough guess)
I actualy find it easier to get sideways in stock form than the irl 240sx lmao. Maybe thats more a skill issue on my part. I do know what you mean about understeer, though, in stock form it feels a bit heavier in the front then it maybe should. Should be a tad more responsive and direct imo
considering that the new 200bx will most likely have a straight 6, id love to see a gavril 4.1l swap into it. if this does happen, id love to see the gavril 4.1 get a turbo or two. its quite an unloved engine that needs something cool to make it cool
Interesting insight. Yeah, I'm talking stock variants mostly and they indeed feel quite nose heavy imo. I gather lsd is a standard equipment in 240SX, right? Isn't there much more body movement in real car? In old best motoring videos they look super soft Idk. I'm just curious to hear more comparisons from you. Have you tried any mods in AC? If so which one comes closest. I did put some time into Lenny's 240.
LSD was common in most Manual cars, autos got mostly open. My irl car was auto from factory (now manual) but currently retains its open. As far as suspention yes oem was suuuuuper soft. Ive only been in one oem suspention car but yeah super soft. Even on coils though my car has a good bit of movement under harsh driving, but has not really ever felt nose heavy. Even with open diff I find myself catching the tail more than understeering into corners. Original reviews of the car talk about how good the rwd layout felt, so I imagine not a lot of understeer. These photos show oem vs my coils body roll As far as AC I have yet to try Lenny's but have heard really good things. I really like the stock style cars you can drive in the DWG car pack. They feel great (they do run angle kits though)
Cool man, nice to hear some first hand impressions. So from what I understand 200 BX differs from your car quite considerbaly, no? I get that it is not supposed to be a direct recreation but I still feel it should retain most of its charactersitics. Oh, and I'm also very curious to hear your opinion on Lenny's 240. I personally love the way it drives.
What is it with people saying vegetation can’t be added outside of given world parameters? I’ve seen a few people note it. Those can’t be expanded?
