Update Speculation thread

In the description of one of the bolides, it was stated that the bolide was a return to rallying after a long hiatus, so I wonder if we will get a predecessor to the bolide as a world rally winner of some sort

 

i'm inclined to believe that was just a reference to the amount of prodding from the community for a rally-spec bolide.

 

Bolide rally = 037.. Civetta = Lancia.. one of the predecessors to the 037 = Fulvia.. hmm.. Fulmine.. Fulvia.. starting to check out

 

Just imagine a Powerglow Gr.5 Bolide! Gemballa emerging from Tron!

 

wait i just realized there's gonna be body 2 styles for the 200BX (a fastback and a notchback) so hopefully the fastback will be made into a 3 door.

 

this is what im also hoping for. the current way the 200 trunk is set up is super unefficent and the amount of open space to make something enter the trunk is nonexistant. hopefully itll be something like the rx7s or 180sx.

 

I am hoping for another engine choice besides the miserable NA 2.0 I4

 

I kind of want a Utah expansion with an open pit mine, that would be really fun to drive up and down

That's what I'm hoping for too. The body style as we know it become a Hatchback/Liftback with a large rear door. It's a style we haven't had until now after all.

Too true, we have too many I4 equipped vehicles that sound near enough identical with near enough identical engine modifications. Hoping to see an I6 with turbo options and maybe a rotary if we're lucky. I think people forget these vehicles don't have to be "true to life" so I don't see any reason why a 200BX couldn't have a limited rotary model. Speaking of the I4s, hoping whenever the Sunburst gets remastered it will do away with inline engines entirely and have a smaller displacement (compared to the SBR) boxer 4 with a fat single turbo on it.
