I.was just thinking it would be cool to be able to manually lock hubs by having a trigger on the center caps, and also having the ability to manually select 4wd like in the Stambecco. As well as to be able to push an interior button for different locks and modern 4wd systems.
Something i seen not mentioned yet is engine sounds, i really hope there's some awesome revamp of pure JDM goodness engine sounds that'll be in this remaster. Not just the stock engine but other jdm engine swaps for the car that sound authentic and just amazing to the ears.
True, but not every car has manually locking hubs. I mean in Roamer for example it would be a bit out of place as this car is too new and too comfort oriented to rely on such an antiquated solution. Also the issue is the manual hub model is assigned to certain wheel designs (I can count 2 or 3) and not to actual hub selection in parts menu. So there would be a certain disassociation between functionality and appearance.
I might be wrong, but I think that system is fairly well known (and often disabled by racers due to making the car twitchy at speed) May also have been available on US models, but I don't remember
I'm sure this has been said a thousand times now, but I'm thinking tomorrow. If not the latest is probably Thursday at best, since they seem to really like updating the game on days that begin with a T. Anyways for other content in the update I'm thinking this: WCUSA Expansion - It's been mentioned by everyone (Pretty sure I mentioned this too?) so it's highly possible PBR to random things - This keeps happening every update so it's a given that this will occur too. It happened in 0.30 with the I -Series and 200BX. New Missions - With the 200BX being added I bet there's going to be a few missions with it, and other ones too Career Mode Updates - I keep hearing everyone say they're going to add drift missions, so this ties into the line above. For general updates, I'm assuming it's just polishing stuff and possibly adding a few things New Trailers - This one is 100% happening as shown in the one teaser where the T-Series is pulling a logging trailer. Possible AI improvements? - I've been noticing the AI has been getting more erratic recently (eg; making u-turns in the middle of the road (this has kinda been a thing since day one), crashing into each other, etc), so I'm assuming they're going to do some fixes to it. Dynamic Mirrors - Probably just going to be added to the 200BX only, and in another update every car will get them Bug Fixes - Exactly what the title says. Happens every update soooo
Agreed, especially because there's no difference between the same engines of completely different vehicles (i.e. all I4s sound the same except for the Vivace and all V8s sound the same except for the Bastion's)
It was available on US cars but the system often failed or was disabled so the car was more predictable when drifting
Damn even if you disable it your rear wheels still have a hinge, can't be good for drifting on the long run no? If it comes that'd be fun to test the limits of this in game
mods are being approved rn, I'm not sure if the update is coming today --- Post updated --- you can buy some sort of device that completely locks the system up and it is strong enough for street use, I'm sure drifters just swap it out for a non-AWS system for extra durability and less weight
Hey, this is me complaining about lack of custom parts for most cars in Beam. In an ideal world, the remastered 200BX would come with stuff like this out of the box. But I'm more than sure that at best it'll come with two front end variants and maybe, just maybe, a single wide body kit.
Wasnt one of the devs working on getting rid of the "pitch" sound for engine sounds? Would be a nice addition if that exists and is now up and running.
