Update Speculation thread

I fully agree here. There's not even a little chunk of evidence that supports that a minivan is coming to Beam.

 

We may get the Bluebuck or w/e its called. and possibly west coast USA or Italy. I think there is only one other unreleased car and that's the Soliad.

 

West Coast USA is 95% likely to make it into the update, Italy maybe 25%.

 

Italy no. Unless the update is another three months. From last screenshots Italy looked a bit further from completion than one might want

 

Speaking of minivans, a sliding door would be pretty easy to do now that we have slidenodes. Never forget the generosity of Estama when he finally ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ gave slidenodes.

 

One thing we can be 90% sure is that power steering will come to other vehicles, and possibly standard! as its on the ETK 800 as a demo so it will be moved onto new cars eventually.

Caster adjustments and no more suspension breaking next update!

Better drifting always accepted.

 

What difference does power steering make in Beamng? I don't see any difference between the way ETK 800 (PS) and the way Sunburst (no PS) handle.

 

Goosah's post about suspension caster will help the drift cars (The suspension changes, not the post). WCUSA has a drift circuit. That almost convinces me that WCUSA will be in this update.

Funny...

I wasn't convinced that WCUSA would come in the next update, but a lot of people seemed to think it will. Right now there isn't much of a reason to care about drifting cars. We have one drift car and few official good places to try and really drift. Adding parts/features for cars which will help cars in a map that's well along in development is a good enough sign for me to join the bandwagon.

if WCA has a drift course, i might retry my drifting T-series project (uses nothing but stock parts)

 

Starting to get curious if the buildings in Belasco (WCA) will have some sort of illumination at night and if that gets added to the buildings in Firwood (ECA) and Italy. I don't see this happening soon unless someone makes it in a mod but it'd be interesting and a step-up from just street lights.
