I Miss updates with multiple remasters like the one with D/H- Series and Roamer. I just hope that when they do it with Sunburst and SBR they do it together or with Barstow, Moonhawk and Bluebuck
No, it just seems redundant and unessasary to me. (I know that whenever I voice my opinion I get slapped and yet I keep doing so... why?)
Well those are 1 mod out of 100s but the BX already had many different mods that made it look like the Skyline r32 the diana looks like.
*next week 2 major hype teasers drop* Hype or no hype i think most of the time the cars are getting in the way of some major features since the devs have to make and/or remaster a car or the community would probobly go ballistic, instead of focusing on a major new feature that could greatly improve beamng. (and before you say, "well they do" I meant large overhauls of background systems and/or new features like career mode (yes i know it exists) or multiplayer.) --- Post updated --- Either way, they seem very similer at first glane and (in my experiance) while driving them. It would have been great since the moonhawk is more luxery focused if it was a 4 door. --- Post updated --- In any previous update, most of those would be made compatable again, but since the diana was added everyone abandoned their unique takes on the r32 because now the mods are redundant.
or it's like cars are often used as a showcase for these new systems? Also another damn person that can't seem to understand that different people work on different areas.
I don't remember the Aurata showcasing anything other than a lack of a normal transmission. The t-series overhaul was sweet, but the BX didn't add anything new to the table. And tell me, what did the landsdale bring that was new? The only recent update that showcased anything new, with a new car, was the .27s new shocks. And yes i understand the difference, but i would think they could at least help with devolepment of other areas of the game.
A new vehicle type. --- Post updated --- yes, but what, you think others don't work on them at the same time?
All I said was a new "unneeded" car wouldn't hype me up anymore and it led to this crap. How come whenever I say anything that could possibly in the stretch of the imagination be considered not 100% good, I get caught in an argument. Thank goodness this isn't Stormworks, or I would have 12 snipers aimed at my head right now.
I mean, arguing that new content isn't needed is a weird take in any game. What would be the point in a game with no content?
I meant different new content. Not just more of the same general thing. You get kinda bored with the pessima mk3 and the new burnside "wont be remastered" config. --- Post updated --- Don't get me wrong I still enjoy new cars, but the enjoyment only last around 1-3 hours usually. Then it just becomes another car i rarely (if ever) use. I want something more substantial than "Heres a new car and a map tweak enjoy yourself for the next three months" (this is not a complaint of "not enough updates" btw).
Aurata introduced a fully tubular frame UTV vehicle into the game thats what it did, and some suspension things too iirc, also funny engine thing, BX had a complete remodel and introduced new engines and features so you cant say it didnt add anything new, and lansdale brought proper sliding doors ingame which is a save for modders and also a fun thing overall
Well for the person out of "the know" it generally seems like nothing really new was added. And before you ask, I do read the patch notes.
wdym the "know" people arent not going to notice that the bx has new headlights, front designs, a new body type, better handling and new engines, with the lansdale the generic user will eventually find out about the sliding doors by curiosity
I noticed that it had a new body and face that was added years ago by modding, and I kinda shruged of the sliding doors because I don't mod and I didn't know the "complexities" of sliding doors. --- Post updated --- I dunno, but I think i'm deluding myself into thinking something like multiplayer will make Beam.ng "unboring" to me again. (and before you ask I watched those what to do when your bored in Beam.ng vids.)
I assume by "really new" you mean what we refer to as vehicle systems. They aren't always introduced together with a new vehicle or remaster. In case of the updates you talk about it was less obvious. The Aurata update introduced completely reworked shifting behavior on all cars, and added the tilt deck trailer which was the first trailer with realistic hydraulic cylinder based movement. BX update, in that case the new thing was on the log trailer, realistically simulated trailer landing gear. The Lansdale update was more of a content drop focused on the Gambler 500 collaboration. The T-Series, I don't even remember all of the new systems that got added with this one, most obvious being pneumatics simulation but there is a lot more than that.
