That probably depends on if they use a "realistic" human model, or if they use a dummy model. I think the dummy would fit better into beamng world.
Blood, not sure, but maybe they can add a damage system for all individual members without dismembering the pedestrians. That could add something more for paramedics mission in the career mode, or even worse, some cost to pay for killing someone and flee against the police.
Hell yeah, gore in Beam. I would gladly download such mods and play Carmageddon: beam edition by setting the spawn rate to 200% (if there will be an option for that) and hopping in a gambler car > i feel like the devs regret posting this video because everybody is hyped for pedestrians and now they have to release them soon otherwise community mad (jk)
We did get spoiled with lots of new content over the years, glad to see they'll focus on stuff we probably won't notice, but will make the game better on the long run
I see it as good news. Updates may be delayed and slower to come BUT it sounds like the team will be tackling some more technical topics that’d else-wise be left alone
Too lazy to check if anyone has replied to this yet, but this update is supposed to be mostly backend stuff, nothing too crazy. So there's nothing to tease.
And it has been delayed too so even of there was something more concrete cooking, I'm assuming teasers wouldn't be a priority
Since there is a possibility we are getting pedestrians. Does that mean we will also get driver models, too?
I certainly hope so, along with airbags. If beam was to add pedestrians, the team would need to polish lots of sidewalks in most maps. I’ve noticed multiple times in career mode that in WCUSA sidewalks kinda stop in random places (like the AI lol)
