Golden words Yuri Venediktovich =) it's high time to bring order to the forum, it's a pity that it will be difficult to realize without drastic measures.... there are a lot of participants who create new empty topics and empty messages, maybe directly introduce a curfew or something similar on the forum? more rights to moderators to limit too active participants who do not make any contribution to our community, such as blocking to send messages: a day, a week, or even more. Or Maybe implement a reputation system?
no, people just have to behave themselves and the other community members hold them accountable or the forums end up like reddit and similar sites where mods have to much power and ban you for not liking your post --- Post updated --- what if whenever they devs get around to updating the Police behavior we also could get roaming racers like the Outrun opponents in NFS Underground 2 ?
How about a forum patrol system like in cs go? Random encounters on the road with the possibility of being challenged to a race? Like : Street Legal Racing - Redline
BeamNG developers are still the best in the world.I am glad that you can still maintain a good forum environment. I hope the development work goes smoothly! ♡♥(。´▽`。)♥♡
Yeah Not many other dev teams put this much effort for a game that is 10+ years old (except Minecraft ofc).
That would be so cool. But the WCUSA streets are much too cramped for that and the highways we have are super short. : WCUSA needs a redo or the updates have to change it drastically
If the game is still actively bought according to steam, why should they stop development? By the way, the introduction of official multiplayer would help sales, as many people use the pirated version, as the steam version does not give any advantages, mountains of lost profits which could go to further accelerated development of the game!
Despite content being nice, I still think optimization should be of upmost importance leading to even better content
If the update has to do with de-cluttering the code, I hope we also set some kind of roadmap of future features that will be allowed thanks to said cleanup
It's also the second* best selling videogame of all time, behind Tetris* and ahead of Grand Theft Auto 5 *i found conflicting evidence, some say Tetris sold 500 million copies while others say 100-200 millions, i can't be bother to properly research this though cause it's 1 am and i have work tomorrow
If you think about it, adding up every Tetris arcade cabinet, every Tetris clone, every game system/device that comes with Tetris, every PC copy, every Nintendo/Xbox/PS/Atari/Sega copy, every mobile game, everything, it's probably quite a ways ahead of any other game. It's funny, actually, now that I think about it, I saw a vape the other day that literally has Tetris on it. It's absolutely everywhere. So it's gotta be just about a billion total copies "sold." It's wayyy beyond Minecraft and GTA 5, and, it's probably the most recognizable game in the world.
The saddest thing about it all is that this started as a tech demo it wasn't really intended to be a game, the devs from what I recall (take with a grain of salt) made this engine hoping that a bigger gaming firm would buy the physics engine to put into an upcoming game. (I may be very wrong, but this is what I was initially told many years ago.)
Yeah, same. I think the cars are performing fine, but the levels run really poorly on my mid tier pc with 2070 Super and R7 3700X even with the really aggressive LOD they use. I also still don’t know if they use occlusion culling at all. WCUSA performance doesn’t change much if there’s a big hill between me and the city. I’ve been meaning to really test it, but I’ve been too lazy.
This is true. With every update my game gets slightly slower, and slower. It's not too big of an issue at the moment, i can live with like 50fps on west coast, but it's the fact that i have a 1660ti. Yeah, just a little 16 series, but i feel like i should still be getting more frames.
