Frankly I don't have a clue either. --- Post updated --- As another (probably, not tested but all sign point to yes) Autistic dork. My Videogame collection puts most women's shoe collections to shame.
Adding onto what was already said... We know from a post by James that Shuffleboard logistic skins will be coming at least for the trucks, maybe trailers too, and it sounds like some way to have "barely functioning trucks", so maybe more low end configs or some expansion to the part wear system There is a racing block in game already. There's a lot of race truck options we could see, so I'd be surprised to not get at least one. The top of my wishlist is something from the Great American Truck Race, which anyone who has seen Smokey and the Bandit II might recognize from the intro sequence. Something a bit more out of left field would be a contemporary Australian Super Truck. These are closer to the modern Euro semi truck racing that most people think of. A bit less fitting for the T-Series, but still not an unrealistic inclusion. Without any other Australian content in game I don't see this coming, but it's worth noting There's a whole slew of options for highly modified drag racing/tractor pull build options It is worth noting, while these wouldn't get a racing engine block, that local 1/4 mile tracks in the States have done all sorts of things with semi trucks over the years. This sort of racing is culturally important for most of the US, disappearing (mostly gone already in much of the country), and has very little representation in videogames (There was a fair number of games in the 2000's that had a some, but Wreckfest is the only modern game I can think of that does)
There's one thing in particular that caught people's attention UGC Platform (monetization) UGC would stand for User Generated Content (a.k.a. mods), so this could potentially mean paid mods will be integrated in the repo. This is obviously speculation on our part, nothing officially confirmed
Well, we are in a teaser drought, and with 0.33 being delayed, There probably wont be too much to speculate. Its a dry season
J/Great... now Disney is going to attack and or buy another franchise and ruin it... Hope the Beam-team have their butts covered legally J/Next update : Micky Mouse, Crash House!
They shouldn’t be held responsible for third-party mods, so I would be surprised if they get in trouble
If the person downloaded the Mod from shady sites other than the official repository, it's not the game company's fault....
A few corrections to the story. The hacker/hackers downloaded 1.1TiB (about 1,200 gigabytes and not terabytes) of Disneys data after claiming they had an insider/rat at Disney. This included work emails, profits, nsfw messages, etc. Meanwhile it’s been discovered the data was collected through a manager at Disney downloading a mod for an unnamed game. The same hacker involved has been known to make trogans for BeamNG so the insider claim starts to sound far fetched. *Their motive for hacking BeamNG mods by the way has been to defend the creators of stolen mods (which I believe is a publicity stunt to try and gain a following). Luckily the mods are all on 3rd party sites (hopefully because such content spreads to places where it can harm the innocent). And therefore any argument stating the hack is in direct relation to the game itself doesn’t stick. It’s the act of an individual/group on uncontrolled websites. They’ve also noted they hacked Disney for AI reasons alongside the whole Club Penguin claim so their story is all over the place. It’s been fun to follow though. Definitely hope they’re found.
they did say that the update was not completly finished but that they wanted to release it the mixer and the things above are just probably not a top priority and its being worked on to include in a later version --- Post updated --- imo the disney situation is a win win disney gets fucked people dont download leaked shit or stolen paid mods or stuff from 3rd party websites modland gets bad press
the mixer that we currently have is using model and textures from the pre remaster, they are making a remastered version with better details thats why
