Guys, am I many updates late with discovering this one? (again) or the ETK kc6 police variant is called "Autobahn Police", not just "Police", since the 0.28 update. I was curious about that why would they name it after an autobahn, if there aren't any autobahns in vanilla BeamNG.
Who knows, maybe in the far future.

I think I might be barely awaken at the moment I was writing that, which explains why that post looks kind of silly, and I have to agree with you now.

Under the hood changes, they did talk about this. We don't have any idea of the actual extent of the code cleanup they're doing to be honest but I imagine the majority is done now

I would like to see the full number of how many lines of code they took out once the update releases.

We have many repositories (this includes not just beamng.drive, but also tech, documentation, websites, continuous integration, third party libraries, and a bunch other stuff). So getting a meaningful numbers is a bit difficult and not very conclusive. But still, the main 2 repos that I personally work with during 95% of my time, reveal these numbers:

    repository A:
$ git diff --shortstat origin/branches/0.32.x master
    13149 files changed, 1834752 insertions(+), 1124479 deletions(-)

    repository B:
$ git diff --shortstat origin/0.32.x master
    10815 files changed, 5526683 insertions(+), 514963 deletions(-)

There will also be more updates to the FFB for wheel users in 0.33, posted by stenyak on Reddit:

I don't own a wheel. Once the update comes out, can you try remember to come back to this thread and talk about how the changes feel? Thanks in advance

I'm ready to talk about the FFB changes too.

I was trying to replicate a development screenshot from krallopian, because I couldn't find anyone trying to do the same and I managed to find the exact location, where it was taken.
Here is a rough comparison between v0.33 and v0.32.5 and where is was taken:

    My screenshot:
You can see the empty billboard has been replaced and, for me at least, it looks like we will be able to access the area directly from the motorway.
Overall, we will possibly get yet another West Coast update.

(Sorry for screenshot duplication, not sure how to fix that)

That doesn't shock me too much. James has been working on the highway system to make it better for career mode, including adding an onramp at the quarry (added in 0.32.3) and fixing errors with the road network.

And hopefully the force feedback will eventually be able to change automatically based on the vehicle you selected and have a better feeling of the weight of the vehicle to make it feel more like driving in real life and feel the friction of the tires on the ground as the wheel turns when parked or in motion.
