Let me reiterate this. QA means nothing. The QA builds are only updated so devs on the QA branch can test them. They're probably just fixing a bug most likely, judging by how unstable the QA builds are.
Well... hype crushed more. :| Well... I guess we can speculate on the time for when the update's released then.
There's still a likely chance of it coming tonight, especially due to this being the anniversary, but the QA branch shouldn't be used for evidence.
QA is always updated alot before a release, its been a quarter of a year (and then some) since the last big update. Not exactly far fetched to say another is due pretty soon.
The captans update prediction has now changed. 15-25% chance tonight 50% next friday 85% the next friday 100% be the end of august
Hype is not crushed. The Steam thing was obvious from the beginning and shouldn't have been hype material to begin with. QA activity is though. Thank you for explaining us the basic concept of quality assurance in video games integrated on the Steam platform, but that's not even an argument to your statement how it means nothing Well no shit. AGAIN, it's the manner in which they are updated is what's important in this case. We established how this type of build update schedule resulted in updates within a short period of time. There is no way this fact can be denied. Also, another build update 5 mins ago. Looking by how little the build ID number changes between updates it's obvious that they are doing small polishing fixes. Something is definitely happening. There would be no reason to update the QA build that frequently if it didn't mean they are in a hurry.
That is such a silly thing to say. Previous updates were hinted in the exact same manner by QA build updates. See I'm not even the type of person who loves to fuel hype trains, but such extreme ignorance is what gets me.
The QA seems to be pretty active recently.... Update soon confirmed-ish. Now the waiting game. Or we can speculate how likely it's gonna be for now.
Listen, I'm just stating facts. Also, they've had tons of QA updates in a short amount of time without an update. I'm just trying to say that we shouldn't use them as 100% proof. I'm hoping I'm wrong though...
ok, maybe not.... snipped. OT: What do you think would be the chances of it being released with all of these updates to the QA? 30% maybe?
Hey come one now, chill out. Don't get so pissed that an update is either a few hours or a few weeks away. Enjoy 0.9 while it's here.
