I I know it sounds dumb but Beam teasers used to singlehandedly make me look forward to Tuesdays... Hopefully we can get back to that once the devs get on top of whatever backend work they are trying to power through.
Trudat Either way the repo (seemingly) being back online is a good sign! Hopefully its not a "lets give them some new stuff" stopgate measure, and the problem is actually solved.
At this point we should just have a community-filled WCUSA mega-thread where we all just be like 'this doesn't work quite right because of ____ and ____ can be done to fix it'
Sounds like a t-series stuff list. Dunno what semi truck was in f&f though. Edit: looked it up, they jumped onto an old semi (that looks like a t-series) and another that was more modern (90's-2000's). Could we be getting more modern t-series parts?
I believe it is simply compilation checks, devoid of any context of information in the game, it could very well mean the compilation of a new build of the game from my outsider knowledge of game development and rudimentary knowledge of programming. therefore new update t-minus 41 second
Outta the “teeser” context: The devs should really give the site / forums some attention. It could really use some big improvements. Even a remake of some sorts The looks and the general file capacity of the site itself has remained the same since early 2016. this is also confirmed visibly if you use the way back Time Machine site to look at the site pages from that time. The file capacity is the bigger problem TBH. You can’t upload any files larger than 580MB I think, this can cause some problems with uploading mods with big file sizes like maps. And also, why couldn’t you upload any sort of GIF file format in the site at all? It has so many limitations if you wanna do so. All of these could get some work done on them IMO.
Never understood this argument, you don't call it the "Joint Potographics Experts Group", do you? Anyways, back on topic. --- Post updated --- Something that could be added to Spearleaf Island to make it more realistic and the twin-decked suspension bridge a bit more believable would be to have a few military installations on the island. This could consist of maybe a Navy base, Coast Guard station, and former USN or USCG airfield built on an artificial island and converted to a regional airport or a medium-density neighborhood. This would be a mishmash of the histories of Yerba Buena Island and Treasure Island in SF, but with the key difference being the reason for the existence of the bridge. In real life, Yerba Buena Island was a Naval base before the Bay Bridge was built, and the State of California had to lobby Congress to get permission to build on the island. After the bridge was built however, the US government was just fine with building Treasure Island for use as a World's Fair site. Interestingly, Treasure Island was supposed to be a second airport for San Francisco before it was seized by the US government to build another Naval base as WWII loomed on the horizon. Back in Belasco City, the Spearleaf Island Bridge could be something that was constructed by the US government rather than the State of California in the late 1930s, in order to better facilitate movement of troops and supplies to the military bases on the island, which had already existed there for a couple of decades. This would also give credence to the rail line that runs above the road deck, originally used by the US military and now used by the Belasco City metro.
Is this the new system that will classify vehicles in different families depending on their weight and length to allow them to drive on certain roads or block them from others? Like bigger trucks won't be assigned on city routes but instead directed to highways and bigger roads and small cars won't be able to access the Spearleaf Port and Belasco Port...
one of the devs mentioned that they are working on a map that may or may not make its way into the game
