If the update is "nothing to be too excited about" or however the devs said, why make a content creator's release? Wouldn't that guarantee some of them will call .33 disappointing in front of their audience?
I sure hope YouTubers understand what's going on and don't miss-inform their viewers, that developers are lazy, which they aren't. --- Post updated ---
Something like the world editor update would still be something to discuss, although they’d maybe need to get more in-depth with it
Personally I think it would be more disappointing to them if they didn't receive the update early. It would be kinda unfair with the agreement since it's the biggest perk of this program.
Why are people already saying "it may disapoint", when we sill get new T-serie re-re-remaster, a new vehicle, Improved map creator and so on? By "nothing to be excited about", they meant about no new mechanism or simulations, like with the dunekicker. Sure, we will "only" get a new vehicle and some other configs and QoF content, but it's still GREAT. For me, a "disapointing" update would be just something boring or that wouldnt have anything to the game part of beam. But it never happened once, and the update always were great (speaking as someone who played since a bit before automation collab) So yeah, have a cat
Exactly ! And there are many configs that can be useful for future mods, missions and even career mode! A fire utility truck, a maintenance truck, a regular police truck or even another police one, like these ESU police trucks, with big bull bars equiped with antennas, and a huge compartment box!
All of those vehicles would be equivalent to the existing D45. The truck in this update is more like the below (Using a later gen F650 because I can't actually find a sixth gen Ford medium duty from a PD)
] Oh I see! I was referring to the second latter part of the truck I don't know how we call it, the "uplift" maybe? Seeing that the new truck will have a "compartment box" made me think they would add specialized configs as shown by your images and mine
It's called an "upfit". We saw in the tri-axle T-Series teaser that this is getting a unique fuel tanker, and in the drop axle T-Series teaser we saw what looked like a dump bed. And the last teaser had the pickup bed. There's a whole ton more we could see, but most of the ones already on the D/T-Series are a safe bet. Roll off, static flat bed, box, and a logging upfit. There's a whole bunch more we may see but those are all safe to bet on.
Speaking of the static flatbed upfit for the D/H45 it seems quite outdated. It lacks the hay bale loads found on the 22ft tilt deck trailer which could roughly fit on it and neither truck has a default config using the "flatbed" upfit even though I think it has been in game since before each vehicle got its respective remaster. Wonder what the likelihood of them just making a new flatbed upfit and mounting it to both the new teased truck and the current D/H45 series.
As in a PD truck? We definetly could see one for the D65. The D-Series and T-Series could as well one of these days. NYPD has several versions of Kenworth T700/T880's and Mack Granites in the fleet, they use to have Mack DM's as well
I still think a revamped road editor (that appears to be happening) would be HUGE for us guys with little to no map making expertise (like me who just screws around until something works). I'm not getting my hopes up too much, but I have a feeling this is gonna be a great update (even if the map editor isn't updated). Beam cats are best cats. --- Post updated --- Guys, "The Crew 2" is one sale for 1$ (USD) on steam right now! And it's also in a bundle that has "The Crew 2" and "The Crew Motorfest" for 19.79$! --- Post updated --- Wait... ah crap wrong thread.
