And with 4 GB of VRAM, it WILL be short on VRAM. --- Post updated --- At that point turn your settings down. I'm sure you can work with only a couple of things set to "ultra".
It's a medium duty truck for when you need more payload capacity than a 1 ton truck but you don't need a full size class 8 truck The normally come is class 4 or 5 depending on who you ask and go up to a class 8 in some cases It's pretty much the only trucks we run here in the US with a chassis mounted upfit aside from the occasional dump truck and rollbacks/tow trucks --- Post updated --- We used to have the coe but it fell out of favor for a better ride and when standardized trailer lengths came about the setback axle helped with the turning radius but for the most part those are used for warehouse to warehouse or warehouse to supermarket sized store the rest I'm pretty sure is done by medium dutys
Ultimately D3D11 is still going to be there to use, 4GB of vram isn't really ideal anymore (especially for BeamNG)
Even if an update is "nothing to be excited about" it will still have interesting things for content creators. new vehicles and configs are always nice to have, and calling it disappointing is a matter of preference. This update seems to be focused on making changes to the engine that will make future updates easier or even possible at all, so not something regular players will find exciting but it will pay off on the long run.
Still, worried Steam players will form a mob after finding out this new "6-month" truck looks like a revamped Durham...
in the past the update cycled was usually between 4-6 months, and i didnt see any backlash back then. So i dont think there will be any repercussion. Ones that will complain (i doubt many) would probably complain no matter what.
It's real, I have it, and I witnessed the Steam mob that happened when they broke 5-10% of the game for less than 2 days.
On an unrelated note, I don't know this game nor its "incident", but godamn it look like a nice game!
It's a bug-fest, don't get it unless it's DIRT cheap. Also, its community is worse than 200 tons of toxic waste barrels.
I know this is a lil off topic. but what is the stormworks incident about? i heard about a lil too many times now to not ask
Devs broke 5-8% of the game for less than 2 days. The community gave them REAL death threats on Discord (I think it was discord...) with their IRL locations and everything.
That explains why so many talk about it --- Post updated --- I don't think i have ever seen that. where do they post it? btw can you find a countdown for a older update? I want to see what it looks like
