Don't know if anyone else noticed this, but a lot of the cars in the teaser aren't parked between the lines, lol. Don't know if that signifies anything tho...
ngl I think update is likely to happen this week, probably tomorrow on Wednesday, or at least before the Steam Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Fest ends next Monday
So, from what I can see: The Grand Marshal taxi seems to have slightly different proportions, a new chrome/black grille option, body coloured side mirrors, new headlamps and taillamps, nd a new(?) taxi sign (there's also a third Grand Marshal behind a blue D-Series on the background). This means we'll be getting a Grand Marshal re-remaster/refresh. I hope to see LWB and station wagon (with wood panelling also) body styles, V6 engines, pre-facelift and second facelift models, and even a Burnside rebadge inspired by the Lincoln Town Car (we already have one as a mod, but still). It looks like the car park at the Italy airport (and most probably the airport itself) will receive some updates, but trees sprouting out of concrete is kinda off, NGL. Speaking of such, we will probably get more simplified traffic and parked cars. Perhaps more optimisation, I guess? We'll also get some more extra stuff for the D-Series as well. Not surprised really, considering that past teasers have shown us new content for the D-Series.
what i can take away from the new teaser is more traffic variation (taxis and other configs maybe even police), more traffic in general, more parked cars, better optimizations (maybe a full release of Vulkan or an big update to it) touch up to existing cars ( the sunburst getting better textures finally ?)
Did you read any of the last couple pages with these findings? lol --- Post updated --- Vulkan has already been confirmed to be the default renderer as of 0.33
So finally we will have more variations of Simplified traffic vehicles, so maybe my potato can spawn more than 5 vehicles maintaining an acceptable FPS
I'm really not seeing any vehicle content additions in this teaser. I'm guessing it's for simplified traffic cars and/or AI parking behavior
I think too that they did something to the traffic / parked cars . I'll try to jump in the game later to validate my argument but parking lots were not this packed in 0.32 from what I remember. There was some cars , yes , but not this many . So I think parking lots and roaming traffic will be way more dense than before . Tdev told us that they were working on " behind the scene " elements , that would be one of them if you ask me and everything will make sense with the patch note . Devs knows what they are doing and they never made a " useless " teaser , there is something to it that we don't see !
