No, I made a record of the AI path and then then ran it on different versions of the game, it's not a replay.
Official school bus? Looks like the Dansworths, FS65/CB40 and S3 might get a new friend. --- Post updated --- The facelift looks similar to an old WIP mod that was being developed by AR162B, it was Gavril D55/D65.
Oh shit you sent me back in time, younger me would have been so stoked to see d65 in a game as an official content
that looks REALLY similar to the MD series. i wonder if there was some collaberation going on probably not but it is called update SPECULTAION thread
HOW im rocking a 4060 on a i512600k and my pc is strugglin when i put more then 100 ai cars in the game (laptop btw) or when its under 50 percent i get -12 fps and i didnt even max out my settings (they still at high tho) --- Post updated --- agree
I dont think so. I have played only a little bit with it, so i could be wrong. But its more for the map modders, like the track editor. The new tool seems to mostly make premade type of roads (you maybe can change that, havent used them too much tho.) The sidewalk that the tool places seems similar to meshroads. Which doesnt have LOD's and will clog drawcalls if used extensively. Upon testing, the new tool sidewalk does dissapear when you are far enough. But for optimization it might be better not to use it on any larger map. (I have only done a short test, so i could be wrong) After bit more testing, it doesnt clog drawcalls as badly as meshroads. From what i have seen, the devs mostly use blender for roads. And then they export the data into beamng (asphalt, terrain).
wait before we continue Modders use blender Not beamng map editor and i have a suspision that the devs know this --- Post updated --- but they could also be uing blender tho (the devs) --- Post updated --- Ax50 is just doing false hope yk
Map modders use world editor extensively (same for devs i think). While you can make a whole map in blender, its going to have some issues and will probably be subpar. Id say 90% or more of work is done in world editor compared to blender. Blender is usually only for 3d models. As roads are usually made on top of terrain. (not always.)
Maybe because they didn't have such a tool before, if it makes it easier for modders, why wouldn't it for the devs?
Its a pretty powerful tool. But if you know what you are doing and have a workflow, roads arent that hard to make. Some of the most tedious parts of making roads (guardrails, sidewalks, detailed textures) can be made in seconds with the tool. But if you want much finer control over where something goes and how its made. And if you are working on more complex roads / cities. You will need more control and manually making roads might be better option. Which is why i feel like devs wont use this tool that much for the main maps (i could be wrong tho. They have put a lot of thought and care into it) I could be wrong tho. I still am messing around with the tool and looking at what it can do. I dont think i will use it myself much in my map as i have workflow, and want manual control the road. Also sometimes the tool is slighty buggy Also cant edit road in the editor after i saved and closed the game, but i might have bugged something. I am interested in seeing how it gets used, and what will get made with it.
I tried screwing around with it. Still haven't figured out how to change the grounds material with it though.
It was also the case with the "v8d_1990_12500cc". The difference is, that we did now we are getting a V8D for T-Series.
There often is some tidbits found in the game files. I suspect most are accidentally left from the dev build, but it is fun to see the speculation around them. Almost more fun than the real teasers sometimes, for me at least.
