we need many different engines for the md series as it would've had atleast 3 options a big gas v8 the d-series diesel and the 640 cui would have probably been the big engine but there would be tons of engines that can be swapped in

Considering that’s a model T which is very different from the car we saw and that race is probably 10 years before the production of the actual car we are getting, again I don’t think it would make sense to have a Le Mans version at all.

Hey, if we look closer to the I-series trunk, the lights are reflected in the wet road.

The Chrysler 6 competed in Le Mans in 1925, 1928, and 1929. Judging by the engine sound file name this is going to be a 1929 model. While the Chrysler was a good bit more upscale than this probably will be, it's at least a plausable inclusion.

Similar story for the Stutz and the DuPont,

Something just came to my mind, this new car has the potential to be the rustiest car to be in beam, if we get a ratrot or even old paint job for it along with wheels it would look right out of a ghost town

Somebody’s gotta make the eliminator, or at least something based on it.

I can imagine making a custom configuration inspired by the "carreteras" that raced in the South American motorsports categories from the 1930s until the 1960s.

The biggest Gavril gasoline V8 engine we have right now is the 6.9l/423CUI Ultra-Thrust/Megathrust but I don't think it would be enough. As for the 6.0 V8 Turbodiesel, it's just too small. Remember, the MD-Series weighs at least 5 tons, making it about twice as heavy as a D35 Crew Cab. So a larger V8 is more ideal. Say a lore-friendly GM 572? And a lore-friendly Ford 460 as the base gasoline choice? Plus, the Wentward DT40-L's Gavril TCM 8.9l/543CUI I6 engine, with the appropriate Belasco-Diesel rebranding, could also be available as the base diesel choice.
So the MD choices could be:

    Gasoline
-Lore-friendly Ford 460 V8 as the base gasoline choice
    -Lore-friendly GM 572 V8

    Diesel
-Belasco-Diesel 543CUI I6 (formerly known as the Gavril 8.9 TCM) as the base diesel choice
    -The existing Belasco-Diesel 640CUI I6

The ratrod of the 3rd picture may have a V8, but I see the true quads on the one side and it really makes me wanna see an I4 with zoomies in BeamNG! Of course, this would require a special sound sample. Still, from my aural experience, zoomies make I4s sound like Flat-4s, so the existing F4 sound samples may be ok as a base. Couple this to the application of ignition timing and firing order in the game, mentioned a few pages back, and this could be a game changer!

Just thought of something else too: am I the only one who thinks the MD-Series should have a Gooseneck hitch too, apart from the fifth wheel one? I? I mean, it's a great car to tow the new trailers loaded with hay bales and it's even better than the D-Series at that!

(Writing this here just for discussion continuity on the MD-Series, but I'm also gonna write this in the MD-Series thread.)

if we’re being accurate to real life, the 572 big block was offered on the aftermarket only. However, the 8.1L/496CI big block from GM could work as the larger gasoline v8 bc it was available from factory on the 2nd and 3rd gen Chevrolet Kodiaks

It's only 5 years earlier than the car teased, 1923 vs 1928. It's also fundamentally not that different from later Model T's ending in 1927.

I hope for something like early dune buggies, although it might be unlikely because of the shortened frame.

I made this post where I discussed the possible engine options. Ford and Chevy both offered V8 gassers as small as 6.0L, and the following generation Ford offered a 6.0L V8 diesel.
