A Carrera Panamericana Piccolina would be awesome too, since it's an air-cooled car in one of the hardest races ever!
Hey guys. Has anybody confirmed if this car is either a Bruckell or a Burnside? (Sorry for being lazzy and not checking previous posts)
The teaser picture of the new car has a very emotional feel! Almost got me into tears of joy for some reason! Probably because it's an almost century-old car, probably because my grandpa knew these cars quite good, fact is I really like today's teaser!
It's going to be a Bruckell, based upon the style of B on the hubcaps (and Burnside wasn't even a thing until 1953, from what I can remember).
Except if Camodo accidentally posts a video of him playing multiplayer with OB and Spy with update content that hadn't been released as of the video posting (yes, this actually happened with 0.30, he was using the new trailers)
Yay, another Bruckell car!! So 6 Bruckell-Soliad models (or 7, hypothesizing it's also gonna have a Soliad version, which I highly doubt)!! Also, someone mentioned that it's gonna have 3 body styles? I only see two, the Sedan and (probably) a Pick-Up! Oh my God, the Kurtis Sports Car! Probably my most favourite underrated sports car of all time! Such a lovely design (and in the right size too, even the Corvette C1 seemed huge in comparison) and such a bad fate for it... This certainly could be the Corvette C1 instead of the Corvette C1 as we know it! Still hoping someone brings it back to life just as it is, so that its creator can be properly redeemed in the afterlife! <3
The sports car lasted in 1949-1950, and Motor Trend came out in 1949 as well, but I think why the Kurtis car is because the founder of Motor Trend, Robert Peterson, was friends with the creator of the Kurtis car, Kurtis Kraft. Also, only two Kurtis sports cars exist, one which is somewhere, and the other being the same car Motor Trend showcased in their front cover (and the first issue surprise surprise) which resulted in Motor Trend buying the car in 2019.
Wowww! Didn't know of all this! I only knew of some home appliance maker who bought it in the early 1950s, changed its name and made its face ugly to boot... Yes, MotorTrend was founded in 1949 and they're celebrating the 75th anniversary this year. Since MT's founding is this closely connected to the story of this car, they really need to make a documentary on this car, if they haven't made one already since their content is behind a paywall. Hoping the other car is well preserved!
I recommend reading the 75th anniversary magazine, it has cool history and also talks about the Kurtis Sports car
