No one does BeamNG update videos better than the king himself. If he doesn't make any BeamNG content anymore, I at least want him to still do update reviews.
Almost hit the nail on the head. Great job, mate. Whatever he winds up doing with his channel, I hope the BeamNG update reviews come back again.
its been there since the H-Series remaster. I'm pretty sure i remember someone talking about it here when the H-Series remaster came out.
are you sure? only vehicle with sliding doors so far is the lansdale which came out a year ago compared to 4 years ago, feel like it wouldve been added if it was made around the time the H series was remastered??
It has been there since the H-Series remaster because i modified the sliding door with a inner model when i was making my now unspported European Gavril H-Series mod, and i made that mod 3 years ago
It's a shame indeed if they kept this for 3+ years and decided to scrap it. But again, a European Van or a series of European Van models in various sizes (with USDM variants, of course, since there's this gap too in the BeamNG lore) could very well be using it. The engines are already there (the Cherrier 1.5/2.0 diesel I4s and the 1.6/2.0 gas I4s plus ETKs 2.0 I4/3.0 I6 gas and diesel variants).
i hope we get any new car, at the moment no car in the game is brand new. im thinking a modern pessima or d series would be great
The new light textures certainly paved the way, it's just a matter of time. Especially when it comes to the engine offerings, because the 2.4 I6 is a bit large for being the base engine in a European Executive Saloon and there are also the diesels missing. --- Post updated --- Based on the evolutionary path, a modern Pessima would be a Midsizer. Since it's a Japanese Midsizer for the export markets, it could be offered in both EUDM and USDM variants, with engines ranging from 1.8 to 3.5 liters. But, also, something very characteristic of a modern Japanese Midsizer is that it's a Hybrid (the algorithms of which haven't been found/made by the BeamTeam as of yet and that's perfectly understandable). So, the European markets could get the 1.8 Turbocharged I4 and the Hybrid (say it be a 2.5 NA I4 with an IPHS, an "Inline-Parallel Hybrid System") while Americans could get the Hybrid and the delicious 3.5 NA V6, with both torque converter automatic and manual options, for the "Save the manual" enthusiasts. Of course, if Hybrids are out, Bruckell could also make a modern Midsizer since it already has a modern V6 available: the 3.5 NA V6 unit being installed longitudinally in the Bastion. Put the 3.5 V6/8-Speed Auto combo sideways in the Midsizer, offer AWD, complement the 3.5 V6 with a modern version of the existing 2.5 I4, which made it through 2007 in the Lansdale, base a Midsize SUV on the same platform and we have sales! Then again, Hirochi could have a say in the Midsize class too by offering a 2.5 F4/3.5 F6-powered Midsizer in both Sedan and Wagon variants, with added Full-Time Symmetrical AWD and a slightly more adventurous Wagon with lifted suspension and body cladding. Not to mention that a Midsize SUV could also be based on this platform too. I see really big potential in Hirochi with its Flat engines! As for a modern Full-Size Pick-Up Truck, I think it would be more appropriate for it to be a Bruckell model, again because Bruckell makes modern engines (the 3.5 V6/5.7 V8/6.5 V8/6.5 Supercharged V8) combined with a modern automatic transmission, which is the 8-Speed Auto. Only diesels are missing (specifically, a BelascoDiesel 3.0 Turbodiesel V6 for the 1500 and a great big BelascoDiesel 6.6 Turbodiesel I6 for the 2500/3500). Of course, what would a Full-Size BOF Truck platform be without a Full-Size SUV also based on it?
I series already has unused 2000 badging in vehicle configurator. It seems that they planned 2.0l model at some point. However, it looks much rougher when compared to 2400 badges. Besides engine variety, I series also has more problems. Nonsensical nomenclature (what does ''i'' even stand for?), AWD on nearly every trim (very unrealistic for 80s sedan and clutters up vehicle selector) and weird TTSport configs.
