Update Speculation thread

The teaser is not that exciting to me, but I will admit the models and textures of the new props look GOOD. Now, if this DOES lead to a Sunburst Remaster, I will be a VERY happy camper.

 

This is the first teaser since December 9th so I'm extremely hyped for this, even if it reveals a feature that's more or less a foregone conclusion from the very early development rally mode.

Don't forget the Miramar! It could get a gravel rally variant in a retro livery and the front bumper fog lights, along with the vintage bucket seats (both seen in the Canyon King variant) would suit it perfectly!

I'm really curious about what car content the 0.35 is gonna bring us. I'd love to see the Sunburst being remade with Boxer power.

 

Exactly! Everyone's talking about Group A and Group B, but where's the love for 2WD 60s and 70s rally cars?

 

Yes sir! Classic RWD rally cars are missing from BeamNG. They helped the Japanese get better known around the world!
Heck, even the Bluebuck and the Barstow could get classic rally variants (provided that the vintage buckets get into those cars too - the sportier variants, as well as the Stock and Drag variants could certainly use these seats)! I watched a couple of Swedish rally videos the other day and some crazy guys used Ford Falcons and Galaxies to do the rally routes! They used them back in the day too, in rallies like the Monte Carlo!
If anything, some vintage rally competition in BeamNG would be interesting, with choices like the Piccolina Rally, the Bluebuck Rally, the Barstow Rally and the Miramar Rally variants!

 

Group 4 Escorts and A110s go brrrr

 

Imagine Cherrier making a classic car like the A110! That would be something else!
They could even make a modern A110, judging by the fact that they have the Turbocharged 230hp/360Nm 1.6 I4 and the 7-Speed DCT, but that's a different subject.

 

It definitely could be possible, though I think Autobello could also make something similar. Speaking of rally cars, do you think they're going to finish that hidden safari Miramar config?

 

I mentioned the modern Alpine because Cherrier has modern engines but Autobello doesn't. Anyway!
Really? There's a hidden Safari Miramar? That's amazing! Since it's hidden, it means the BeamTeam should be working on finishing it sometime!

 

It was shown in the background of the new showreel, and Dieter found a hidden debug config at one point that appeared to have rally-like upgrades.

 

Hmmm a rather basic ( i mean that is a ultra nice way, ) Teaser kinda early, They often give us one end of Feb. not in the middle of it,

Rally/Motor sport. Really tastes like some sunburst work, Could be wrong, BUT it was be a shock if we JUST get more rally modes without some content to go with it,
