Update Speculation thread

I bet we will get a remaster of some sort

 

i miss the remaster and new car combo

 

Btw, don't get your hopes too high. I bet that Sunburst remaster won't have much more content than the new 200BX – at best two body types, a minor facelift, maybe two custom body kits that aren't just custom lips.

 

I just remembered how the Bruckell 9 introduced the new light system. Perhaps all cars with non-led headlights will get the same treatment.

 

This would take a while since all the outdated light textures would have to be reworked, for example the Barstow. The quality of its lights is literally scary. The devs probably did not convert the lights to halogen in all the cars for 0.34 because they want to update all the lights at once, not just lights on a few cars that have good light quality.
Speaking of lights, I hope that the red, yellow, and green lights get better quality, they are very outdated and not as bright as they should be.

 

Speaking of lights, I wonder why we still don't have working street lights at night.
My best guess would be issues with performance. Which would be concerning. :/

Just a suggestion but BeamNG should also start doing more Teaser Thursdays

 

If that's the case, it's a missed opportunity for differentiating Hirochi's passenger cars by not putting in Flat-4s.

 

I have to say updates often come in April yes?
So with that being said. Teasers started EARLY this time. FEB middle of it, often they seem come last on the last tuesday's ) Wednesdays aussie time lol )


So we know they doing Motor sport. So it is possible we getting JUST those updates?

Kinda feels silly to JUST show stuff this EARLY without something else. Something bigger,

SO i think march we may get ( or end of FEB ) some new car content,

I really think it will be the sunburst. It REALLY fits with the whole motor-sports thing, As its also the worst car in game ( as it feels like its from 2014..... witch it is )

Even then, I remember ( and in no way am i mocking it ) Some said the Interior never felt finished ( this is in 2014-2015. ) add 10 years. And yeah.

HOWEVER its possible some classics. I.E Bluebuck/Burnside/barstow ( one of those ) could get a remake/remaser. or Just some content, I hope moonhawk. i love that thing, and it does not feel to to to bad. i still vastly love it, very underrated, As well as the little miramar.


COULD get some M-D series content to.


BUT just saying, I think next teaser MAY be in march ( about the 5th or 12th ) And i think ( but dont hold me to it ) It could be the car related teaser...... if there is one this update.


If not am sure the nest update middle of 2025 will have something.

It’s not too far for that since BeamNG has been focusing on updating West Coast, so we can possibly see that type of update very soon (Moonhawk remaster could go along with that too)
