Anyone hoping for a prefacelift or even a previous gen Sunburst? The new doorcards they teased look very early 2000s to me

Hey I think I figured it out. If this is a drag strip that slab in the middle must be the staging lights. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like it's in the middle of the road.

 

Nice recreation, but the area shown in the teaser is much different, as it is definitely a drag strip and goes uphill at the end (helps slow you down) and clearly has drag timers.

 

Is it that hard to figure out the location based on the picture? The sun is setting, just find what part of the map facing west with a hill could fit a dragstrip

 

Im pretty sure they usually change the sun settings for the teasers to get better screenshots (Sun size, brightness, location).

 

I had a look around, and I think this is the best spot for it.

 

Yeah that looks like a good spot. So if they're modifying the map that heavily, I'm ready to bet they'll also add a rally route or a drift track at least

Some dirt roads are possible, but I can't see them adding a drift track unfortunately.

Well maybe next week cause this level of weekly teasers is rare. One time they explained that they don’t do weekly teaser Tuesdays because they didn’t have much content to show for every week. This time it’s clear they’ve gotten enough stuff done to show us all these teasers

That would be neat to see - and considering that 0.28 added opening doors to all the vehicles with them that didn't have opening doors already (except the T-Series, which got them with its 0.31 remaster), it would be the next logical step in BeamNG.door lore.

It's also not the first time that a remaster has introduced something related to doors - the Covet was the first official vehicle to have all of its doors openable in its remaster in 0.26 (although the Scintilla was the first passenger car to have opening doors in 0.25, and opening tailgates and cargo doors have been a thing on the trucks for much longer than that).

The real question is - will the sunroofs be operable, as well? The FCV has a sunroof option, as do a few other vehicles, so it would be nice to have those work.
