Yep, last Teaser Thursday was for the D-Series Prerunner on December 10th 2020 and 5 days later, on December 15th, boom, the 0.21 dropped!

Nope, it's the widebody front bumper (plus the accompanying widebody front fenders and widebody front suspension) of the ttSport/ttSport+ K-Series. It was part of the 0.28 modern ETK refresh!

 

i actually think i have a theory. the industrial and port map were combined many years ago, and i believe, because of the new building tools, the ecusa and hirochi raceway map will be combined.

Speaking of vehicles getting lift kits and cladding, the SBR4 absolutely could get that, as well (see: 911 Dakar/Huracan Sterrato). It wouldn't even be that abnormal, either - both the K/800 got Rennspecht and Heritage Edition versions in their refresh, the Gavril remasters have added RoadSport versions to all their vehicles except the T/H/MD, Ibishu's got GTZ variants on all their vehicles except the Hopper/Pigeon/Wigeon, and even Bruckell/Soliad's got Sport S/SE on all their '80s and '90s models (and the Bastion).

 

My personal estimate from experience (been playing for 11ish years) for the update time frame is early April, April 5th - 7th. It's about the right amount of time and is sat, sun, mon. which is optional update time.

 

Major updates don't tend to release on Fridays (let alone Saturdays or Sundays), so the 5th-6th aren't likely. The 7th is a good shout, as there have been a fair few major updates that have dropped on Mondays (like 0.18). But usually, major updates drop between Tuesday to Thursday.

I really hope for an entire refresh of the SBR factory configs. There are no special editions, no face lifts, and a random electric conversion years after release with an extremely high HP version.

Personally I would love to see this take some inspiration from how Nissan stretched the Z and GTR platforms at this time to have very long model years and a low entry price but over time and through special editions creeping up to higher than it really ought to be. Throw in a config based on the Dakar 911/Rallye Cayman and a spyder and targa body style.... As far as tying it in with the Sunburst goes... I guess it would make sense for them both to have a WRX STi equivalent trim level.

 

So the update can either come possibly on the 25th (Tuesday) or 26th (Wednesday). I think it's gonna be on the 26th cause 0.34 already released on a Tuesday but who knows? Maybe this update will drop earlier than expected

 

Last teaser Thursday was from 0.33, where they showcased the road editor tool or stuff, but the update did release 5 days later (with a teaser Tuesday first)

 

0.26 came out on Monday too, I believe the reason for not posting update videos on weekends is because when you post a video on Saturday or Sunday there is a chance that the video will not get a good amount of views and will flop.

And about posting videos on Friday, I don't know if it's a flop or if they're not used to it, but I believe they must have posted some video of an update on Friday, it could be very rare.
