SO more or less time for one last Drive of the late 2014-STILL current verison, say good bye, Load GTA 4, and play that till update. seems like a plan to me may play till monday then gta 4, Hence my name OT, AS much as am not into the Off-Road thing, I do hope for one WHILE am here. The old mk 1 ( 1st gen ) had a coupe, SO a convertible would be great even if not overly realistic, Or maybe it is, AS its a Sunburst not a Subaru, so The devs can make what they want
There is no other way other than SteamDB to know that kind of information ? Really curious on when 0.35 will drop ... don't remember the last time I saw a Teaser Tuesday and a Teaser Thursday in the same week and I've been playing Beam for a few years now ...
I think its a safe it its in the HYPE stages. I think today or yesterday ( or tomorrow ) the Creator Branch is out, We cant know for sure, I dont know if creator branch gets vidoes as well, and a DEV blog, But i think creator branch should be out now As well with it the devs may be wrighting a DEV blog maybe starting to do that
hmmmm --- Post updated --- I don't usually like being that one person who spots every difference but the background of the image does not currently exist in any of the Career garages in West Coast (Correct me if I'm wrong tho). Garage update? Performance Index anywhere? Career on more maps???? What is it?!?!
It's like this on all cars, the weights in config selector are displayed as rounded to 0 or 5 kg to make them easier to read
Tbh, I like the performance index stats a lot! We have plenty of cars that are different from each other yet they happen to have about the same 1/4mile performance. For example, the Cherrier Vivace S 410Q Arsenic (best on Arsenic mode, which gives more boost), the Bruckell Bastion Sport GT 6.5, the ETK 856 ttSport (not the ttSport+ one, which is the Sedan and is AWD), the ETK Kc8 ttSport (the one with the high-revving NA 4.4 V8, shown in the index stats of the teaser) and the Hirochi SBR4 TTS2. They couldn't be any more different from each other and yet they perform pretty much the same, on the 1/4 mile at least! Taking about the automatic versions, mind you! A small suggestion though: just like the 0-60mph/0-100km/h time says it's on prepped surface, I think the 1/4mile time and exit speed should also be saying whether they're on prepped surface or not. Long before this teaser, I happened to have measured the orange ETK Kc8 ttSport on the Gridmap V2 dragstrip, which has a prepped surface, and the 1/4mile time and exit speed are really, really close to the results shown here (it was like 11.3s @203-point-something km/h), so I know the results shown here are on a prepped surface!
However they implement street races I hope that instead of using this performance index to match vehicles in, they let us choose cars in a certain price range. So that we can maybe have those cars that punch above their weight class for a surprisingly cheap price XP Or however they wanna do it. Idk i don't street race
Hopefully the team works to find a good balance of gameplay and realism here. If it was as simple as value alone then we'd just end up in a vetteGrand Marshall-cart meta where the best car for everything is a stripped beater with a supercharger. But it also needs to be simple enough for casual players to not get frustrated trying to build their ride to spec. I like to think different event types will handle this differently, with sanctioned motorsport events having relatively strict spec requirements (and sometimes full on spec racing) and amateur events being more open. I certainly hope to see some Motortrend/Top Gear cheap car challenges and lemons events but also proper spec racing.
