Update Speculation thread

Almost every, the H-series (van) an New Pessima (midsize) didnt but i guess those could be more along the lines of a refresh

 

Not all remasters - in fact, many times, the remasters will keep the old internal names. Here's the full list of pre- and post-remaster internal names for all the remastered vehicles:

-Covet: "hatch" -> "covet"
-Bolide: "super" -> "bolide"
-D-Series: "pickup" -> "pickup"
-H-Series: "van" -> "van"
-Grand Marshal: "fullsize" -> "fullsize"
-Pigeon: "pigeon" -> "pigeon"
-Sunburst: "sunburst" -> "sunburst2"
-T-Series: "semi" -> "us_semi"
-BX: "coupe" -> "bx"
-Roamer: "roamer" -> "roamer"
-'96 Pessima: "midsize" -> "midsize"
-800/K: "etk800"/"etkc" -> "etk800"/"etkc"
-LeGran: "legran" -> "legran"

So, while it's probably nothing major, it is interesting that the Sunburst is now "sunburst2".

You can't roll the windows down in vanilla beam

 

you cant roll down windows in beam
why would they fix something that doesnt exist :shock:

 

Because in the parts configurator you can select the windows to be rolled down, aka inside the door frame

 

Anyone know how to manually transfer save files? My PC is being stupid and says i need 21gb free on a non-beam disk when my beam.ng disk has 600GB free, and the last 2 times i said 'do it anyway' all my save data was deleted.

wheels arent big enough
too much offset even tho its close as possible to the car in the settings
tires arent thin enough
car isnt low enough
and unpainted carbon fiber hood isnt a thing no mo

maybee in 0.36 of BEAM.NG DRIVE thay will add back the parts for yo to make YOUR configuration again. I DONT know why they take FEETURES away when they update gam.

 

I pointed out this and then deleted my message, because the scintilla has pre rolled down door glass in the part selector.

 

rip sunburst sunroof lol. great update though lots of little goodies in the patch notes, this was a way bigger update than it looks. They finally fixed the rear spring deformation on the etk 800, It's been bugging me for years

 

There's a good chance that they could actually be added back before 0.36 in a minor update, as this has happened before for other revised parts that had to be cut to make a deadline such as the derby config of the 200BX.

 

And the NFS ProStreet-inspired skin for the drag config.

 

Literally (S)creamed when they showed this. Kudos to the BeamNG Devs for always being a good listener (unlike some people I know)
