The first 3 would look really interesting in the I Series since it is inspired by those two cars above --- Post updated --- I think it's very likely that the next update will be a modern car --- Post updated --- I have a feeling that maybe those fuel doors can be interacted with in the next version and will be added to other cars as well.
TBH the more classic cars the better IMHO lol But if we get a new one, Seeing how china is very much getting scary good with there Evs, A Full EV with futuristic looks would be cool. WITHOUT a petrol version, Feels the Evs in the game are great, LEGIT, but it feels like those are last gen of the 2010s. not the 2020s ( aint nothing wrong with that ) BUT yeah, A another 1930s-1970s car would be great, I think we dont have a 1940s car,,,... i guess the mine being early 30s fills that void mostly, Dont have any classic brittish cars yet, BUT yeah,
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but the moonhawk has updated '73-'75 taillights and the grille is finally see-through.
It will be interesting to add a new China brand. Maybe we can experience intelligent electronic network equipment in BeamNG. British brands are also great, and I believe that the designers of the developers can give us a work of art full of British flavor.
To be fair, the FCV platform has attention from devs, for example look at the latest update. It could be my hot take but almost every manufacturer in the game has at least 2 cars representing the brand, therefore as of now we have two exceptions: Cherrier and Burnside. Yes there's also Wentward and FPU but I will count them as commercial With Cherrier, I can see devs adding something inspired by 60s-70s sedan like Renault 12 or Peugeot 504 because we lack vehicles in those eras With Burnside? We could go with first gen Ford Thunderbird or first gen Chevy El Camino... since Burnside is a company made by Gavril (which I've always seen as a mix of Ford/Chevy)
We have plenty of post-millenium vehicles now - certainly far more than we did before 0.15. Of the new vehicles released since then, seven of them have been post-2000 vehicles. Excluding facelifts of pre-2000s vehicles (Lansdale, H-Series), we have: -Wydra, Dunekicker, and Rockbouncer (all 2008) -Sunburst (2009) -800 Series and SBR (both 2013) -K-Series (2015) -Aurata and Bastion (both 2016) -FCV and Scintilla (both 2020) That's 11-12 vehicles (since the FCV technically includes two vehicles, the Vivace and Tograc) in the post-millenium era - a fair few more than there are pre-1970 (Nine, Burnside, Piccolina, Bluebuck, Miramar, and Barstow). I think a T-Bird would be a solid Burnside, indeed - a ute would be more fitting for a Gavril (like the Bluebuck or Barstow) or Bruckell (Moonhawk). It is true that we're lacking in terms of old-school Euro cars (and French cars). We've only got the Piccolina pre-1970, and that's quite smol. I think a 504-esque vehicle would be a bit too close to the Miramar for the devs to do it. However, a "not"-R12 would add another longitudinal FWD vehicle to the game, after the Sunburst (and a pre-1980 FWD vehicle, which we don't have at all). It also would fill the class gap between the Picco and Miramar (the Picco's ~750 kg, while the Miramar's ~1070 kg - the R12 goes from 840-980 kg). But what if the devs went higher-class? Something like a Citroen DS or CX would be a solid European alternative to the Burnside (all the other pre-1970 vehicles are cheaper mass-market models), and we'd have a passenger vehicle with standard hydro suspension (which we currently don't have). And we could get some of those US-market versions and grey imports (the DS was officially imported from 1956 to 1972 to the US (38,000 in total), while the CX had a small grey-market audience in the '70s and '80s (1,000 imported in total)). The Piccolina, Bluebuck, and Nine all innovated in terms of suspensions (torsion bars for the Picco, hydraulics for the Bluebuck, and friction shocks for the Nine), so I wouldn't be surprised to see another suspension innovation with our next car.
Oh, yeah, that is also true. (What's also funny is that the spring of 2019 and 2025 have both had major Hirochi content in their first updates - the eSBR for 2019, and the Sunburst remaster for 2025.)
A lot of vanilla vehicles still lack the new Halogen Fading Effect that some vehicles were given in 0.35. For example the Civetta Bolide, Gavril H-Series, Hirochi SBR4, Gavril Bluebuck, etc. Maybe in the next update they could get it.
I think a 60s British GT like the DB5 or E-type should be considered for a future update. Think about it; We still don't have ANY British cars in the game, nor do we have any grand tourers (unless the K-Series is considered one? Regardless a classic one would still be a good addition). It would also be the first 60s European car (the Piccolina started in '57) PLUS we could get Bond gadgets and who wouldn't want that?
I feel like vehicles which haven't gotten the Halogen Lighting system will get their lights refreshed like how the Moonhawk, Barstow, Burnside, Roamer, and D-Series have these last few updates. As the lights on the some vehicles you have mentioned have quite poor light materials.
There were plans for an Italian '60s GT car, called the Civetta Fulmine, but those never came to fruition. However, I wouldn't mind getting a fancy '60s British GT or luxobarge, instead of a not-DS/CX. Although, knowing the devs' propensity for giving vehicles nationalities that are quite different from what they're similar to (Wigeon (UK -> Japan), Hopper (US -> Japan), Wydra (Canada/Ukraine -> Poland), and Stambecco (Austria -> Italy)), our first British car would probably be a microvan (like the Bedford Rascal). The GT would then be handed off to some other country, like Spain (although a not-Pegaso would be absolutely baller). (The K-Series is a semi-GT, IMO - it's too short to be an SL rival (at 4.44m, vs. 4.58m for the R231 SL), although it does have a longer wheelbase (2.64m vs. 2.58m). It's also a lot larger than the R172 SLK (which is 4.13m long, with a 2.48m wheelbase), and a bit larger than the G29 Z4 (4.32m long, 2.47m wheelbase). It's classed as a "sports car" in the derby class system, and is the only vehicle so far to be classed as such.)
I think we'll be getting our first teaser in a couple weeks from now - the first teaser for 0.29 was on the 16th of May, 2023, six weeks after 0.28 dropped (4 April 2023). The SL, SLK, and Z4 have always been two-seaters, so it's perfectly fine for the K-Series to be a two-seater.
the k-series is a really good fit for a soft top and hardtop convertible version, i feel like it is begging to be one too
Or rather just make GT3 specs for the 2010-2020 cars and BTCC specs for 80's-90's cars I would also love an oval racing, hobby/street stock spec for the Moonhawk
