cant lie, If you made the thing longer at the back, Wider, 2 door, am getting some 1970s Lincoln vibes ( would upload a photo of it, but the 2-step thing ruins the fun lol ) BUT yeah those massive lovely coupes, witch i know its nothing alike BUT remind me of one LOL
That is true, you could get medium duty trucks with tandem axles back then and now, but back when the MD Series would've been built, they weren't as common as they are now. They mostly would've been used for heavier loads or bigger upfits, like a bigger dump truck
Great point, I didn’t know the Miramar was so large compared to the Skyline. I wonder if they would ever make dimensions changes (I don’t remember which car but I think there was one that was updated to better fit regulations, maybe Pigeon). Although both fit well within the 5-number class I’d like to know what Ibishu was thinking at the time. I don’t really see it being based on the Mark ii other than in size, especially that early on in Japanese motorization. The Miramar would have been around at the time Suzuka was opened, rather than the Fuji grand prix era, I hope there’s more earlier Japanese racing influence rather than the Miramar having a 1970s racing influence. This is a bit beyond the scope of this thread but a Japanese sports car from around the same time would be perfect from Ibishu (or a Hirochi predecessor similar to a Contessa). I think that having a sedan as the premiere race car from Ibishu was directly lifted from Prince rather than Toyota, but continuing the lineage and having a sports car or prototype race car would fill a gap of their history (could even be linked to a certain italian company prominently featured in game ). This 1900 Sprint is based on a Scaglione design interpretation and is a s5x Skyline underneath
Imagine instead of a school bus we get more RV stuff this update. I mean, I would be all for it. Especially if it means get a proper 5th wheel camper and stuff
While that likely is true, the Miramar currently is really close in every dimension to the first-gen Nissan (then Prince) Gloria (with the only major exception being that the Gloria somehow weighs 230 kg more than the Miramar). Speaking of the first-gen Gloria, it and the second-gen used a suspension type we currently don't have in the game - a de Dion tube rear end. While I would still prefer a 4-link rear end, I think that a de Dion would still work fine. Also, the fourth-gen Gloria (and the Isuzu Bellel) had diesel engines - which are becoming...more common in the Beam roster. I'm not sure if we're getting a diesel for the Miramar with this refresh, but it would be nice to have. (And it certainly feels more likely than an EV swap, similar to the C130 Laurel EV). The Pigeon did get its dimensions changed a fair bit in its remaster to fit more within the kei-class regulations of its period (and it even got a smaller engine). It's still too long, though. And although the Wigeon is listed as a "kei-class" sports car, it is far too wide (~1.5m) to fit into any era's kei-class regulations. And despite being supposedly popular in the United Kingdom, it's only got metric gauges. We could get both - the 200BX got another L4 and two V8s in its remaster. I doubt we'd get much for the OHV L4s, but the DOHC ones would likely get more tuning parts (hopefully). Once again - both could happen. There've been several RVs made from converting old school buses.
Fair enough. I definitely wouldn't complain if we got more RV stuff, considering that the only base game RV is a small single axle travel trailer
And the YT commenters noticed the 1st person cam being different. If something's actually changing for that, I'm all excited!
